The map doesn't share...
The map doesn't share align with action tours. But oh well I like the freedom of doing it at my own pace. You don't get much detailed info like a human guide would provide you but mayan ruins is full of speculations and imaginations and less on concrete archeological findings. So knowing just brief description was enough for us. However I would recommend doing at least one ruins (I recommend Uxmal Puuc Route one) with human guide and use audio tour guide for the rest of them.

Great site, inadequate audio guide
The Coba ruins are definitely worth a short day trip from Tulum, especially if you add on a visit to the nearby cenotes. This Walk with Action audio guide is no substitute for a real tour guide, though. Summaries were brief and sometimes inaccurate and the mapping function was imprecise in closely spaced sites in the ruins. I’d recommend paying for a human guide instead or, if you don’t want to pay for that, save your $10 and make a donation to the site.
