Coba tour review
First off, the tour is a good value for the money. They did everything they said in the web description. The down side was the 4 van changes they had me do to consolidate to the tour I needed to be on. Also, the vans are very well used - that is to say worn out and ride very rough. Last, our van was packed to capacity. I guess you get what you pay for. But guides were all pleasant and knowledgeable
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback. We’re glad to hear that the tour met the expectations outlined in the description and that you found it to be a good value for the money. We’re also happy to know our guides made a positive impression with their knowledge and friendly attitude. We do understand that the multiple van changes and the condition of the transportation affected your comfort, and we appreciate you pointing this out. Your comments are important to us. Thank you again for choosing us and for sharing both the positives and the areas for improvement. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future and provide an even smoother experience.

Good times!
Had a blast! From the ATV to the Tour, the guides were friendly and knowledgeable and certainly kept us entertained for the entire experience. I will say however, that despite all the pictures they were taking of us, we were never offered the opportunity to buy them. Otherwise, it was a great experience.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for these words!! I will ensure all our crew will know they are doing an excellent job. We hope to see you soon in another adventour!!

A lot of bang for your buck!!
Really incredible experience for the price. It lasted all day long, and aside from the long drive to and from Coba, there wasn’t a dull moment. Everyone we dealt with was very friendly and professional.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for these words!! I will ensure all our crew will know they are doing an excellent job.We hope to see you soon in another adventour!!

Would NOT recommend
Avoid at all costs! Extremely poorly organized from the beginning. Broken equipment. Got a broken helmet, noticed many broken life bests, and the atvs (MANY of them) broke down so we couldn’t go more than a minute or 2 before the guide would stop. This is not an exaggeration! We spent most of the time sitting in our own exhaust. Skipped zip lining because we straight up did not trust this company to keep us safe after the ATV experience. They should not all need to carry wrenches and bring extra people to fix equipment along the way. The only reason I gave 2 stars is for our guide to Cobá. He was very sweet, helpful, and informative. However, I would say stay away from this company at all costs.
Response from the operator: We have alot of good comments, that means we are a great company and the most important thing for us it's keeping you safe!

The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Coba Adventure: ATV, Rappel, Ziplines, Cenote, Archeological Zone Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Tulum.
How much does Coba Adventure: ATV, Rappel, Ziplines, Cenote, Archeological Zone Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $136 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Tulum usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Coba Adventure: ATV, Rappel, Ziplines, Cenote, Archeological Zone Tour take?
+
Plan for about 7 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Tulum is not rushed.
Is Coba Adventure: ATV, Rappel, Ziplines, Cenote, Archeological Zone Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.7/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Tulum, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Coba Adventure: ATV, Rappel, Ziplines, Cenote, Archeological Zone Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Coba Adventure: ATV, Rappel, Ziplines, Cenote, Archeological Zone Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 7-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Coba Adventure: ATV, Rappel, Ziplines, Cenote, Archeological Zone Tour?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Tulum can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Tulum and add a light layer if any part of the 7-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Coba Adventure: ATV, Rappel, Ziplines, Cenote, Archeological Zone Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Tulum within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Tulum?
+
On Outty we rank every Tulum experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Tulum Ruins, Turtles in Akumal and Cenote tour, Tulum Guided Tour, Magical Cenote, Lagoon Snorkeling and Beachside Lunch, Chichén Itzá, Cenote and Valladolid with Lunch and transportation. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Tulum?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Tulum?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
