    Climbing mt. Trebević via Ferrada

An incredible and well planned Climb, went with friends and we all had no prior experience. Kenan had been very friendly and allowed us to take our time. He taught us a couple things about Bosnia, as well as recommending good restaurants to eat at during our stay in sarajevo. Thank you kenan! The mountain G.O.A.T

    Highly recommend

We'd never done a via ferrata before, Kenin made everything simple and easy and is incredibly knowledgeable about the area. Very fun, very rewarding.

    all-inclusive package

It was a really nice experience from the start to the end. The pick up and the drop off was in front of our apartment. We never did a via ferrata before, but the introduction and explantion were clear and good to understand. We highly recommend this adventure especially for the view, the guide and a little bit of history.

    BEST EXPERIENCE EVER

I don’t have enough words to express how amazing this experience was! Kenan our guide was experienced, confident, and helpful with everything climbing. It felt very personal as it was just My husband and I and Kenan which made the experience very enjoyable as we could take our time and have a more personal experience. The views are unmatched! Our climb ended right at sunset and seeing it from atop a mountain is incredibly rewarding. Highlander Adventures itself is a business started by a bunch of friends who have a love for climbing. Who wouldn’t want to support that! They provided pickup, drop off, and snacks! Also if you don’t have your own ferrata gear they have some you can use. They also will take photos during your climb so you have to share if you’re too scared to pull out your own camera like us 😅 It was worth every penny and If we are ever in the area again, which we hope to be, we would book with them again and again. Thank you Kenan and thank you Highlander Adventures!

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sarajevo.

How much does Climb Via Ferrata in Sarajevo cost?

Is Climb Via Ferrata in Sarajevo worth it?

    +

That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 31 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sarajevo, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

How far in advance should I book Climb Via Ferrata in Sarajevo?

    +

Around 11 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sarajevo and add a light layer if any part of the 4.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Sarajevo?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Sarajevo?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
