I was alone doing the hike but never felt alone. The crew was super friendly and supporting. They really helped me reactief the top, big thanks for that. Furthermore, the route is very nice with Beautiful scenery and good to acclimatise. Arrangements with the company went really fast. Everything was there how it was described. A very reliable company (also less expensive but the level of professionality is high!!!). I would recommend it!

Highly, highly recommended Jackson @Bush Lion Tours

Our journey with Bush Lion Tours Jackson was nothing short of extraordinary. From the very first moment we contacted him, everything was handled with the highest level of professionalism, warmth, and care. We climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with their amazing team, and thanks to their expert guides, flawless logistics, and constant encouragement, we not only reached the summit safely but truly enjoyed every step of the adventure. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable, attentive to every detail, and always made sure we felt safe, comfortable, and motivated. Their positive energy turned a challenging climb into an unforgettable experience. After the climb, we went on a safari—and it was just as breathtaking. From majestic lions and graceful giraffes to elephants, zebras, and endless Serengeti landscapes, every moment felt like stepping into a nature documentary. The accommodations and meals during the safari were excellent, combining comfort with an authentic African atmosphere. What stood out most was how Jackson with Bush Lion Tours made us feel cared for at every stage of the journey. He didn’t just organize a trip—they created memories we will treasure forever. If you are dreaming of climbing Kilimanjaro or experiencing a true African safari, look no further. Jackson @ Bush Lion Tours is absolutely the best partner you could ask for. Highly, highly recommended!

Response from the operator: Asante sana for this glowing review! Amazing Lifetime Experience in Tanzania

I had the most unforgettable adventure with the 8 days Lemosho Route climb and 4 days Tanzania wildlife safari. Everything was perfectly organized from the first day to the last. Our Kilimanjaro climb was incredible! The Lemosho Route was beautiful, quiet, and full of amazing views. The guides were very professional, friendly, and always made sure we were safe and happy. They checked our health every day and encouraged us until we reached the top! The porters and cook were also amazing – the food was tasty and gave us energy every day. After the climb, we went on a 4-day safari to Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater. We saw so many animals like lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and even a leopard! Our safari guide was very knowledgeable and knew the best spots for wildlife. The lodges and camping sites were clean, comfortable, and had great food. This trip was a dream come true. Thank you to the whole team for making it special. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to climb Kilimanjaro and enjoy a real African safari!

Climb Kilimanjaro in 8 Days via Lemosho Route: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Moshi.

How much does Climb Kilimanjaro in 8 Days via Lemosho Route cost?

    +

Prices start at $3,100 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Moshi usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Climb Kilimanjaro in 8 Days via Lemosho Route take?

    +

Plan for about 192 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Moshi is not rushed.

Is Climb Kilimanjaro in 8 Days via Lemosho Route worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 72 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 17 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Moshi, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Climb Kilimanjaro in 8 Days via Lemosho Route?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Climb Kilimanjaro in 8 Days via Lemosho Route suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 192-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Climb Kilimanjaro in 8 Days via Lemosho Route?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Moshi can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Moshi and add a light layer if any part of the 192-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Climb Kilimanjaro in 8 Days via Lemosho Route start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Moshi within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Moshi?

    +

On Outty we rank every Moshi experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Materuni Waterfall, Coffee Tour and Picnic Hot Lunch, Materuni Waterfall and Coffee Plantation Half Day Tour, Kilimanjaro climb, Machame Route (7-day). The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Moshi?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Moshi?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
