Beautiful, peaceful paddle on Lake Tahoe

We had a beautiful morning on the lake with Andre our guide. We did the 9 am tour which met in town at 8:30 and then shuttled to Sand Harbor. The lake was smooth and the skies were gorgeous. Andre was very helpful and had interesting stories. I believe we paddled for an hour and a half but took a couple of breaks to rest. My husband and I were in a double kayak and there were 5 double kayaks total in the group. This tour was recommended by a friend and we would also recommend.

    Great Tour

Great tour! Geoff was our guide and he was entertaining, enthusiastic and professional. Very easy to handle the kayaks. Parking was tight in main lot but available parking around back.

    Great paddling tour

We loved our paddle! Parker was a great guide and made sure everyone stayed together while sharing history of the lake. Designated parking at the office was great since parking was difficult in all other lots. The transport to and from the beach also made the experience convenient and stress free.

Worth every penny 10/10 would do again.

Wow simply amazing, Dave shuttled us down to the beach and then we were greeted y our guide Carter that was totally on point. The Kayaks were extremely durable and sturdy and the water and snack provided were a great touch. Loved that we were in a small group just 6 kayaks total and 8 people….our family did single kayaks that worked out perfectly. Carter made this a very easy and informative excursion for our family with trivia and history of the lake area.

    Clearly enjoyable

Great experience! Parker was a fun, knowledgeable, and personable guide. Clearly Tahoe provides granola bars and water, which was a very nice perk I've not had on other kayak trips. Highly recommend this experience! Given the TripAdvisor booking cost, wish the kayaking was for more than 1.5 hours on the water. However, have since learned that booking directly with a company costs less than booking through a third party (makes sense) - will remember that for future trips.

Clear Kayak Tour of Lake Tahoe (from Incline Village): questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lake Tahoe.

How much does Clear Kayak Tour of Lake Tahoe (from Incline Village) cost?

    +

Prices start at $191 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lake Tahoe usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Clear Kayak Tour of Lake Tahoe (from Incline Village) take?

    +

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lake Tahoe is not rushed.

Is Clear Kayak Tour of Lake Tahoe (from Incline Village) worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 71 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 162 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Lake Tahoe, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Clear Kayak Tour of Lake Tahoe (from Incline Village)?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Clear Kayak Tour of Lake Tahoe (from Incline Village) suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Clear Kayak Tour of Lake Tahoe (from Incline Village)?

    +

Around 57 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lake Tahoe can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lake Tahoe and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Clear Kayak Tour of Lake Tahoe (from Incline Village) start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lake Tahoe within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Lake Tahoe?

    +

Tahoe splits by season: summer brings boat cruises, kayaking at Emerald Bay, parasailing and Flume Trail rides, while winter brings snowmobiles, snowshoe treks and ski shuttles. Pickup points around the lake are far apart, so meeting logistics matter. On Outty we rank every Lake Tahoe experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include 2 Hour Sailing Cruise on Lake Tahoe, Tahoe Coastal Self-Guided E-Bike Tour(2–4 hrs) | East Shore Trail, Yosemite Grand Adventure - day tour from S. Lake Tahoe. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Lake Tahoe?

    +

June to September for water, December to March for snow. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Lake Tahoe?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
