Clear Kayak Eco Tour
We had an amazing kayak adventure today, and our guide, Jeff, made the experience truly unforgettable! Jeff was incredibly knowledgeable about the mangroves, the local ecosystem, and the beautiful area we explored. Along the way, he paused so we could watch dolphins swimming nearby, which was such a special moment. He also shared fascinating information about the sea turtles that nest at Barefoot Beach, making the tour both fun and educational. What we appreciated most about Jeff wasn’t just his knowledge—it was his patience, his great sense of humor, and the way he made everyone feel included throughout the tour. He engaged the entire group, answered every question, and made sure everyone felt welcome and had a great time. One of the nicest surprises was that Jeff took photos of everyone during the tour and had them sent to us before we even made it home. That level of thoughtfulness and customer service really stood out and allowed us to relive the experience right away. As an added bonus, we learned that Jeff is a veteran, and we truly appreciate his service to our country. It made us respect him even more. If you’re looking for a memorable kayaking experience, we highly recommend taking a tour with Jeff. His passion for what he does, his professionalism, and his genuine care for his guests make him an exceptional guide. Thank you, Jeff, for an incredible day—we’ll definitely be recommending you to our friends and family!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the incredible 5-star review! We’re truly grateful you took the time to share such a thoughtful description of your experience with Jeff. We’re thrilled to hear that your adventure through the mangroves was filled with memorable moments, from seeing dolphins to learning about the local ecosystem and sea turtles at Barefoot Beach. Jeff is an amazing guide, and his knowledge, patience, humor, and genuine care for his guests are exactly what make a tour special. We’re so glad he helped your group feel welcomed, engaged, and comfortable throughout the journey. We also love that you enjoyed the photos—capturing those unforgettable moments is a big part of creating lasting memories. We’re proud to have Jeff as part of our team and appreciate your kind words about his service and dedication. Thank you for recommending us, and we hope to welcome you back for another incredible kayaking adventure in the future!

Kayaking
Based on some of the pictures on the business' website, it looks like the tour will go through a couple of mangrove tunnels. Several in our group got to experience that in a different tour we did that week in Bonita Springs, but be aware - this tour does not really offer much when it comes to mangrove tunnels. We went into one tunnel for a 2-3 minutes that had a dead end, than had to turn around. We were looking forward to some mangrove tunnels, but this trip didn't really include those. But I'll still rate this tour 4 stars. We unfortunately did not come across any sea life, but this isn't the guide's fault. The clear kayaks don't offer any advantages over other kayaks. The water is too dirty to see anything. The guide was friendly and helpful. He offered different facts and history during the tour. He took us to a beach for the kids to search for seashells. They enjoyed that. We got some good photos from the tour. Overall, we got a good workout and enjoyed some of the kayaking. There just wasn't much to see - at least on our trip. Be aware there's not much shade during this tour (no mangrove tunnels). It gets hot quickly in the kayaks during the middle of the day. You are required to bring your own water.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're glad you enjoyed your guide, the shelling stop, the photos, and that your family had a good time on the water. Our tours are designed to give guests a little of everything during the 2 to 2.5-hour experience—from paddling along the mangrove shoreline, exploring a section of a mangrove tunnel, spending time on the beach searching for shells and enjoying the beautiful Gulf views. Every tour is a little different depending on the tides and conditions that day. As for the water clarity and wildlife, those are natural conditions that change daily with the tides, wind, and weather. Some days the water is clear with abundant wildlife, while other days visibility is more limited and wildlife can be elusive. We also encourage guests to bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated. We don't provide single-use plastic water bottles as part of our commitment to helping protect the beautiful environment we're out there to enjoy. Thank you again for joining us. We appreciate your feedback and are happy to hear you still enjoyed your time on the water.

Fun & peaceful at the same time
I've never been kayaking & at 77, was a little nervous. I went with my daughter & we had so much fun. Lance was our tour guide & he was very friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. Answered any questions & always made sure we were ok. Kayaking was so much much & even though we didn't see much wildlife because of the tides & other reasons we couldn't control, it was great being so close to the natural habitats of wildlife. We even stopped on a sand island & I did see a dolphin swim by. I would definately do it again.
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us! It means a lot that you chose to try kayaking for the first time and we’re so glad to hear you and your daughter had such a fun adventure together. Lance will be thrilled to hear your kind words. He truly enjoys making sure everyone feels comfortable, safe, and informed out on the water, so it’s great to know he helped ease those nerves and made the experience enjoyable for you both. While wildlife can sometimes be a bit unpredictable due to tides and other natural factors, we’re happy you still got to experience the beauty of the surroundings and how special to spot a dolphin while out there! Plus, stopping on the sand island is always a favorite part of the tour. We’d absolutely love to have you join us again for another paddle in the future!

Why this scores 74
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Clear Kayak Guided Eco Tour in North Naples: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Naples.
How much does Clear Kayak Guided Eco Tour in North Naples cost?
+
Prices start at $84 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Naples usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Clear Kayak Guided Eco Tour in North Naples take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Naples is not rushed.
Is Clear Kayak Guided Eco Tour in North Naples worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 350 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable outdoors in Naples, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Clear Kayak Guided Eco Tour in North Naples?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Clear Kayak Guided Eco Tour in North Naples suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Clear Kayak Guided Eco Tour in North Naples?
+
Around 122 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Naples can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Naples and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Clear Kayak Guided Eco Tour in North Naples start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Naples within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Naples?
+
Naples is the launch point for Everglades airboat rides and Ten Thousand Islands boat tours, along with shelling trips, sunset sails off the pier and small-group food walks downtown. On Outty we rank every Naples experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Marco Island and Naples Pedal or Paddle Kayak Tour, Mangrove Tunnels & Mudflats Kayak Tour - Local Biologist Guides, Manatees and Mangrove Tunnels Small Group Kayak Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Naples?
+
November to April, the dry season with the best wildlife viewing. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Naples?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
