Rushed experience
The day felt very rushed. We went to 4 wineries and had lunch at a restaurant in town. We would get out of the van and were told we had 40 minutes to spend there. It barely gave enough time for our host to explain the wines, have a relaxing experience or take pictures.
Response from the operator: Hi Trudy, thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the day felt rushed and that you didn’t have enough time to fully enjoy each stop. We understand how important it is to have a relaxed experience, especially during tastings. Your comments are appreciated and will be shared with our team as we continue to improve the pace of our tours. We hope to have the chance to provide you with a more enjoyable experience next time.

A great way to see the Clare Valley and sample great wines!
The itinerary to the Clare Valley was a delight…..well paced, with plenty of time at each stop to chat with winery staff and taste some great wines. Our driver, Anil, was very patient, and courteous, ensuring we were at the right place at the appointed time. The drive through the Clare Valley for first- timers, is awesome, as it is so vast, and picturesque in its late Spring colours! Lunch in a local small town was a chance to chat with the locals… so we can highly recommend this tour!! Sue & Graeme
Response from the operator: Thank you, Sue & Graeme! We're happy you enjoyed the Clare Valley tour and Anil’s thoughtful guidance. It’s such a beautiful region, we’re glad you loved it!

A perfect day touring wineries with Bum on Seats & Parry.
Highly recommend this tour and company. The whole family enjoyed out winery tour. Our driver/tour guide Parry, was amazing. He made the tour extra memorable. The wineries we went to were all amazing but my favorite was Sew & Sew, a lovely small boutique winery. We also had a very special visit to Graham Stevens winery which has been sold. Graham was a delight and his wines are highly awarded. A lovely and well respected wine maker in SA. This tour is a must. You will not be disappointed with Bums on Seats tours as they cater for small and big groups. Thank you Parry for a perfect day!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful review! We're so glad your family enjoyed the winery tour and that Parry made it extra memorable. Sew & Sew and Graham Stevens Winery sound like special stops! We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to see you again soon!

Clare Valley Wine Tasting Tour With Lunch from Adelaide: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Adelaide.
How much does Clare Valley Wine Tasting Tour With Lunch from Adelaide cost?
+
Prices start at $300 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Adelaide usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Clare Valley Wine Tasting Tour With Lunch from Adelaide take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Adelaide is not rushed.
Is Clare Valley Wine Tasting Tour With Lunch from Adelaide worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable most popular in Adelaide, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Clare Valley Wine Tasting Tour With Lunch from Adelaide?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Clare Valley Wine Tasting Tour With Lunch from Adelaide suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Clare Valley Wine Tasting Tour With Lunch from Adelaide?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Adelaide can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Adelaide and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Clare Valley Wine Tasting Tour With Lunch from Adelaide start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Adelaide within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Adelaide?
+
On Outty we rank every Adelaide experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Premium Barossa Small Group Tour: Wine tasting, Lunch & Chocolate, Discover Barossa: 4 Wine Tastings, Gourmet Lunch, and Hidden Gems, Adelaide Highlights, Hahndorf & McLaren Vale Wine Tasting and Sightseeing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Adelaide?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Adelaide?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
