What an experience
Cruising through the Barossa in a Mustang was one of those experiences that just sticks with you. What really made it though was Tony. An absolute legend behind the wheel — clearly someone who knows the region like the back of his hand. He struck the perfect balance between letting us soak it all in and sharing just the right stories and local knowledge along the way. Nothing felt rushed, everything felt easy. Between the scenery, the car, and Tony’s effortless driving, it turned into more than just a trip — it felt like a proper experience. If you’re ever thinking about exploring the Barossa, this is hands down the way to do it.
Response from the operator: Hi Rochelle, I love your line that "it felt like a proper experience" as that's exactly what we're trying to portray, not your average wine tour, an immersion in the Brossa. Thanks so much for your glowing review. Kind regards, Tony

Awesome, Wine and Mustang
The overall experience was awesome. Adele was warm, welcoming, friendly, funny and extremely knowledgable. She asked for our preferences and adapted the tour accordingly. Her recommendations for other experiences in the Borassa Valley were outstanding. Highly recommend!
Response from the operator: Hi Martin, Thanks very much for reviewing your Mustang tour with Adele, she's a wealth of knowledge and loves showcasing the Barossa to everyone. I hope you enjoy the rest of your experiences in the Barossa. Kind regards, Tony

I thoroughly recommend...
I thoroughly recommend the trip. The staff at the wineries we visited were very welcoming. Tony our driver was very knowledgeable and great fun. The Mustang was fabulous.
Response from the operator: Hi Kerri, Thanks for reviewing your Mustang tour with us and I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the wineries visited. Kind regards, Tony

A wonderfully unique way to tour the Barossa
During our stay in Barossa Valley, I surprised my husband with a winery tour in a Mustang convertible tour with Tony from Barossa Unique Tours. Sadly, it was unseasonably wet and cold on the day that we did the winery tour, but (even with the car's top up) my husband was still extremely happy with the choice of vehicle for our winery tour. We were able to choose 3 wineries for our tour which Tony was able to work out logistically the best order to visit each winery. Tony was a wonderful host that has exceptional wine industry knowledge, has a passion for the industry and has a fascinating background which he openly discussed throughout the afternoon. My husband and I highly recommend Barossa Unique Tours and are hopeful to do a trike tour next time we are in the Barossa Valley (weather permitting of course).
Response from the operator: Hi, Thanks for being good sports even though the weather didn't play the game. The roof option can certainly be handy on inclement days. I'm glad you enjoyed the wineries and wine industry insights, it's a passion of ours indeed. Kind regards, Tony

Vroom vroom!
Amazing weather, beautiful car and the fabulous Adele - what a day in the Barossa! Adele was knowledgeable, had the timings down packed and made sure we were introduced to our hosts, gracefully exited and picked us up. The vineyards were all very different and we left the choices to Adele. Lunch was delicious at Vintiners as well. The car was grunty and a total thrill! The best day of our week trip - thanks Adele!
Response from the operator: Hi Leanne, I'm glad your day with Adele in the Mustang went so well, she knows her stuff and loves showing people her backyard. Thanks for taking the time to review your tour. Kind regards, Tony

Why this scores 67
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Classic Mustang Convertible Barossa Valley Half Day Private Tour For 2: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Adelaide.
How much does Classic Mustang Convertible Barossa Valley Half Day Private Tour For 2 cost?
+
Prices start at $259 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Adelaide usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Classic Mustang Convertible Barossa Valley Half Day Private Tour For 2 take?
+
Plan for about 3.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Adelaide is not rushed.
Is Classic Mustang Convertible Barossa Valley Half Day Private Tour For 2 worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 67 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 38 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Adelaide, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Classic Mustang Convertible Barossa Valley Half Day Private Tour For 2?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Classic Mustang Convertible Barossa Valley Half Day Private Tour For 2 suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 8. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3.5-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Classic Mustang Convertible Barossa Valley Half Day Private Tour For 2?
+
Around 13 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Adelaide can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Adelaide and add a light layer if any part of the 3.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Classic Mustang Convertible Barossa Valley Half Day Private Tour For 2 start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Adelaide within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Adelaide?
+
On Outty we rank every Adelaide experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Premium Barossa Small Group Tour: Wine tasting, Lunch & Chocolate, Discover Barossa: 4 Wine Tastings, Gourmet Lunch, and Hidden Gems, Adelaide Highlights, Hahndorf & McLaren Vale Wine Tasting and Sightseeing Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Adelaide?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Adelaide?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
