Not a haunted pub crawl
It all depends on the tour guide. Ours took us to only one pub that had no haunted history or at least not that was narrated to us. He stated at the start of tour that he’d never seen a ghost and didn’t want to. The walking tour consisted of random people and their lives. Not what we expected at all.

Stories of the locals...spooky!
We had a fantastic tour with our guide Mia. She was incredibly knowledgeable, informative, and personable. Having spent 2 full days with the Gettysburg battle field, we didn't think there was much we hadn't heard. We learned so much about the townspeople and what they went through. The stops at the pubs were welcomed and appreciated!

Boos and Booze (but not really together)
Good experience on the Boos and Booze tour. Our guide Richard was very knowledgeable and a great storyteller. The tour makes 2-3 stops at some bars and booze/drinks are optional and not included. We went on a busy and rainy Saturday and our group was big (12+) so we couldn't get into a lot of bars. Not anyone's fault but maybe if the itinerary is always the same, the establishments and the tour operators could work something out to save this tour 1-2 tables each night. Another small note is we weren't really told how the pub crawl really works. I thought we would be sitting around a table listening to ghost stories and history while drinking beers. But it was more of a traditional tour (stand around monuments & houses on the noisy street) then go into a bar for a drink, then leaving immediately after the drink. Oh well. Would've been nice to integrate the drinking + stories for a more cohesive experience. Just my 2 cents. We still enjoyed it and thought it was interesting for $39/pp.
