TERRIBLE
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY !! The audio is terrible , a lot don’t work and it plays more music than telling you about the town itself, doesn’t stop at many interesting places , will never use again , erratic drivers and very overpriced

Not City Sightseeing
Do not use City Sightseeing (which is different to Lisbon Sightseeing !) We got on the bus for two routes, the red and blue (they did not mention there was a green route for the city centre) We took the red route first which was OK for a brief tour and history lesson of Lisbon, allowing yo to then choose where to get off, should you wish. We decided to join the blue route and having got off the red bus to do so waited 90 minutes for the blue line bus to return to stop one. This was the worst experience ever, taking over two hours to navigate through dockland and industrial areas. we were scared to get off as we were so far from the city centre, we didn't know if we could get back, especially having already waited 90 minutes to join the bus. I wasn't the only ones concerned as most passengers complained about the lack of history or culture on the blue route. we later found out that we should have chosen Lisbon Sightseeing and NOT City Sightseeing as there is a difference in the quality of the routes, and at nearly 70 euro for two people we truly felt let down

Must Do
Completely exactly what we wanted. With this tour, no place get leave behind. Easy access and buses wel equipped. Definitely, a must do in Lisbon.

Don't use City Sight Seeing to tour Lisbon.
Don't bother using this service. This is the worst City Sight Seeing service I have used in years. The routes are a complete waste of time and money. The Red Line just go to Belem and the Blue Line just goes around a selection of apartments blocks and show you a poor view of the Vaso De Gamme bridge. The only interesting line is the Yellow line but we weren't sold this on our ticket. You are far better off hiring a tuk tuk for the same money or better still use Tram 28 to tour both side of the city.

Why this scores 50
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
City Sightseeing Lisbon Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour & Bookable Extras: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Lisbon.
How much does City Sightseeing Lisbon Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour & Bookable Extras cost?
+
Prices start at $17 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Lisbon usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does City Sightseeing Lisbon Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour & Bookable Extras take?
+
Plan for about 1.3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Lisbon is not rushed.
Is City Sightseeing Lisbon Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour & Bookable Extras worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 50 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.1/5 across 196 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Lisbon, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule City Sightseeing Lisbon Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour & Bookable Extras?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is City Sightseeing Lisbon Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour & Bookable Extras suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1.3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book City Sightseeing Lisbon Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour & Bookable Extras?
+
Around 69 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Lisbon can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Lisbon and add a light layer if any part of the 1.3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does City Sightseeing Lisbon Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour & Bookable Extras start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Lisbon within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Lisbon?
+
On Outty we rank every Lisbon experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Lisbon City Center Tour - The Unmissable Lisbon, Sintra Private Trip from Lisbon Customizable Dreamlike Experience, True 4Hour Private Tuk Tuk Tour: Discover Lisbon with a Local!. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Lisbon?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Lisbon?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
