    Ugly views and poorly organized

We booked this ahead of arrival to the Corfu Greece cruise port. The confirmation did not include any instructions on where to find the HOHO near port. So we asked the customer service rep in their booth within the terminal and he could barely speak English and gave as very bad advice on where to go - telling us just to turn left outside the doorway. Well, we had to walk a long way around to the other side of the terminal’s large parking lot to get to the HOHO stop. The drive on bus was nothing at all to see, taking us through impoverished areas to the other end of island so we never got off until 7th stop after learning the bus would circle around to only one decent area to walk around and see sites - which was the 7th and final stop before dropping us off at the 8th & last stop near cruise port parking lot.

Response from the operator: Dear Customer, Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback about your City Sightseeing Corfu experience. We are sorry to hear that the information provided about the Hop-On Hop-Off bus stop at the cruise port was unclear and that you had difficulty finding the departure point. We understand how frustrating this must have been, particularly after arriving by cruise and having limited time to explore Corfu. We also regret that the assistance you received at the terminal did not meet your expectations. Clear directions and helpful communication are essential, and we will share your comments with the local team so these aspects can be reviewed. Regarding the route itself, we are sorry that the sights and areas visited did not correspond to what you were expecting. Our Corfu Hop-On Hop-Off tour is designed to offer visitors an overview of the island and access to key sightseeing areas, but we understand that the experience can vary depending on individual expectations and the time available. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we hope that we may have the opportunity to provide you with a more enjoyable City Sightseeing experience in the future.

    Corfu hop-on hop-off bus

Don’t sit in the front of the bus because the window can’t open. Sit where there are open windows to get a breeze. We took this tour on 8/8/26 and it was way to hot on this non-air conditioned bus which isn’t offered on a hop-on hop-off bus. There wasn’t an upper deck which I could be on to get fresh air. The walk to and from the tent to get onto the bus was at least 3 hundred yards and the extreme heat wiped us out.

Response from the operator: Dear Nephi, Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback about your City Sightseeing Corfu experience on 8th August 2026. We’re sorry to hear that the extreme heat made your tour uncomfortable. We understand how challenging the conditions can be during very hot weather. We also appreciate your comments regarding the lack of an upper deck and the distance you had to walk to and from the boarding area. We understand that these factors made the experience even more difficult in the heat. Your feedback is valuable to us, and we will share your comments with our local team so they can take them into consideration when reviewing the passenger experience in Corfu. We’re sorry that your visit did not provide the comfortable sightseeing experience you were hoping for, and we appreciate you bringing these points to our attention.

    Corfu Hop on Hop Off

Review ◦ We had the exact same experience as David from June 2026 and were very disappointed. We expected this to be a true hop-on, hop-off tour from the beginning, but the first stop was far away for a 45-minute visit to a museum garden and then a long ride back to town so almost 2 1/2 hours with one stop. We had no other option given besides starting with the harder tour. ◦ Unfortunately, at the other stops, the buses were consistently full, so we realized it would be nearly impossible to hop back on. We had also purchased the additional route, but never used it because the lines at the stop were so long that we were worried we wouldn’t make it back to our cruise ship on time. ◦ Overall, this was a very frustrating experience and did not deliver the flexibility you expect from a hop-on, hop-off tour.

Response from the operator: Dear Nancy, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your City Sightseeing Corfu experience. We are sorry to learn that the tour did not meet your expectations. We understand how disappointing it must have been to experience limited flexibility during your visit and to feel unable to make the most of your ticket. We appreciate you sharing your comments, as feedback such as yours is invaluable in helping us review and improve the experience we provide to our customers.

City Sightseeing Corfu Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour & Bookable Extras: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Corfu.

How much does City Sightseeing Corfu Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour & Bookable Extras cost?

    +

Prices start at $12 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Corfu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does City Sightseeing Corfu Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour & Bookable Extras take?

    +

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Corfu is not rushed.

Is City Sightseeing Corfu Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour & Bookable Extras worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 49 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.1/5 across 29 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Corfu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule City Sightseeing Corfu Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour & Bookable Extras?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is City Sightseeing Corfu Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour & Bookable Extras suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book City Sightseeing Corfu Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour & Bookable Extras?

    +

Around 10 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Corfu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Corfu and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does City Sightseeing Corfu Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour & Bookable Extras start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Corfu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Corfu?

    +

On Outty we rank every Corfu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small-Group Food and Cultural Tour in Corfu, The Governor's Olive Mill Tour with Olive Oil Tasting, Electric Fat Bike Self Guided Tour Discover North Corfu. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Corfu?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Corfu?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
