Chobe Sunrise upto Sunset Day trip from Victoria Falls 5AM - 7PM

Great tour for watching animals

We contacted the tour company in advance and were informed that the pickup time would be 5:30 AM. Since we were traveling with son, they also reminded us to obtain his birth certificates, which are strictly required for entering and exiting Botswana. On the morning of the tour, the driver arrived right on time and took us to the Zimbabwe-Botswana border. After crossing into Botswana, we switched to a safari vehicle and met our guide, Cobra, whose name we had seen on various review sites. Although we had booked a shared tour, it turned out to be just our family this time. We entered Chobe National Park early in the morning and immediately encountered wild dogs. Thanks to Cobra, we were later able to see lions, hippos, elephants, giraffes, impalas, kudus, and many species of birds. A hearty breakfast was also provided during the drive. At the lunch spot, we said goodbye to Cobra as he handed us over to another guide. Lunch was a buffet at the Cresta Mowana Safari Resort & Spa. After relaxing until the 3:00 PM boat cruise, we headed to the jetty to board. The cruise was shared with another group. We were able to watch elephants crossing the river, observe hippos and buffaloes, and spot numerous birds. We could also see giraffes inside Chobe National Park from a distance. We returned to our accommodation in Zimbabwe just after 7:00 PM. It was a highly satisfying day trip where we could see so many animals in a single day. Highly recommended!

Disappointing

This experience. Was put together in the cheapest way possible. After paying a lot of money . We went around the edges of the park . I know there is no guarantee of seeing animals . But also felt little effort was put in. Then the boat ride down the Chobe river. We were taken to one spot to catch the boat . Then taken to a 2 nd place to catch the boat ride. We were standing on the jetty and the boat hit the jetty as i was standing on it . Me and my partner got two little bad seats at the back . Then as we go down to the to registration point. There paper work was not completed. 20 people in the boat and only 17 people registered. One hour late we are still at registration point. The guide said we would get some refund. . I feel like I deserve a partial refund . Really a day to forget.

OTTIMO RESIDENCE

We also returned in September, after the stay in July, and I confirm with pleasure what was already written in my previous review. The structure is confirmed excellent: well maintained, always neat and clean. The apartments are beautiful, conveniently located and close to everything. Very convenient private parking, as well as free use of bicycles and beach Service included. The owners proved, once again, present and helpful. Everything perfect, we will definitely be back! Botswana safari

Seeing mating leopards and birds feeding on elephant carcass. Elephant activity, lots of crocodiles, giraffes and hippos.
