We had the best experience in Chengdu.

Olga and Dmitriy, US Lights and hot pot on the river in Chengdu Lala is the best tour guide in Changdu city of China! Our trip was scheduled for the 21st of September 2025. Because of the weather conditions, our trip was updated to see Chinese traditional Sichuan dancing show with  banquet  feast. After that we took a river boat tour. I don't have enough words to  thank her  for such a wonderful update. Show is amazing. All servants' personal  wear beautiful  national clothing we never saw before. They take care of you and are very polite. You may pick up a national costume if you like to wear it before the show. Dinner was like a show as well. Eight  different snacks,  wine, green tea , and many different  organic  dishes  for each person. All food  is delicious and  healthy. Unbelievable experience !!! After that  she  brought  us to the  boat. Night  lights  of Changdu river  are  beautiful. Lala is a wonderful and knowledgeable person  to tell the stories of the city and many  other  stories.  She has a very good personality,  hard working  person.  She is on top of everyone to make you feel comfortable,  not worry of anything. She pick up tourists at the hotel  and bring them back  as well. Also she gave us the presents to memorize  this tour. Thank you very much for the unforgettable time spent with you  Lala. Lights and hot pot on the river in Chedgdu

The tour was lovely. Lala was easy to communicate with and picked us up at our hotel. She gave us some history and information as well as some small gifts representing Chengdu on the way. We had a little walk down the river and a drink and snacks and the boarded the boat which featured a hot pot. There was a live singer as well. Lala was wonderful to talk with and the view of the city and river was gorgeous. Highly recommend any tour with Lala.

Response from the operator: Dear Atonia: Thank you so much! I'm delighted you enjoyed the night cruise, the hot pot on the river, and the live music. It was a pleasure showing you the beautiful lights of Chengdu and chatting with you. I hope to see you again on your next adventure! Warmly, Your Lala

The best tours and the best guide in Chengdu China.

My husband and I travel often and have been to China a couple of times as we love the people and the country. So much to see, so much history. We especially love Chengdu. A fun city with great food and history. Signing up for tours with Lala at La La Land was a very smart move on our part. Lala, the tour guide and owner is hands-down. The best guide we have ever had. She is smart and speaks perfect English and she knows her Chinese history and especially her Chengdu history. She is so very kind and really takes care of her clients. I was actually sick one day and she brought to my hotel food and drink to help me feel better. Lala tries very hard to make sure everyone has a good time that is on her tour. We will hopefully be back to Chengdu in a couple of years and I will for sure book Lala for our tours. If you book a tour with her, you will not be sorry it will be Grand I assure you.

Response from the operator: To Rita & your perfect husband: Thank you so much for taking the time to share your wonderful experience with us! We are truly honored to have been a part of your journey in Chengdu, and your kind words have warmed our hearts. It brings us immense joy to know that you and your husband had such a memorable time exploring Chengdu with Lala. We are incredibly proud of her dedication, knowledge, and the genuine care she shows to all her clients. Lala’s passion for sharing the rich history and culture of Chengdu, along with her attention to detail, truly sets her apart, and we’re thrilled that she made such a positive impact on your trip. Your story about her going above and beyond to care for you when you were unwell is a testament to her commitment and kindness, and we couldn’t be prouder to have her as part of our team. We are also deeply grateful for your trust in us and for choosing La La Land Tours. Knowing that you consider this one of the best tours you’ve experienced means the world to us. Your encouragement and support inspire us to continue delivering exceptional experiences to all our guests. We would be absolutely delighted to welcome you back to Chengdu in the future! Until then, please know that you have a friend in Chengdu, and we’re always here to assist with any future travel plans. Thank you again for your heartfelt review. Chinese tradional dancing show with sichuan banquet feast: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Chengdu.

How much does Chinese tradional dancing show with sichuan banquet feast cost?

    +

Prices start at $128 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Chengdu usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Chinese tradional dancing show with sichuan banquet feast take?

    +

Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Chengdu is not rushed.

Is Chinese tradional dancing show with sichuan banquet feast worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 54 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 3 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Chengdu, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Chinese tradional dancing show with sichuan banquet feast?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Chinese tradional dancing show with sichuan banquet feast suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Chinese tradional dancing show with sichuan banquet feast?

    +

Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Chengdu can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Chengdu and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Chinese tradional dancing show with sichuan banquet feast start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Chengdu within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Chengdu?

    +

On Outty we rank every Chengdu experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Chengdu Cooking Class with a Local Market Visit, Private Chengdu Day Tour: Giant Pandas and Jinsha Site Museum, Tuktuk Food Tour Through Chengdu's Local Eats. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Chengdu?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Chengdu?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
