It is extremely long, and they wait too late in the afternoon before any food is available. The entire day is spent on the outing

Avoid like the plague
Really disappointed. When I take a tour, I expect everything, or at least most things, to be included. Here, it is the bare minimum. Only the transportation is included. Once you get there, you immediately start hearing about extra charges, and you quickly realize that visiting Chichén Itzá requires additional money because what is included is basically just the ride there. The tour guide asks for an extra $47 USD per adult, while the on-site price is $40 USD. They also try to hard-sell you a personalized calendar, presenting it as authentic Maya material, while much of what they say about it seems fabricated and not based on solid historical facts. Going as far as that the calendar will tell you the abilities your blessed with out of 90k abilities the maya counted. There isnt a single proof of what the tour guide came up with but hey once you buy it you will know ... There also never should have been such a long shopping stop. A short 20-minute break for the driver would have been understandable, but they stopped for 1 hour and 20 minutes so people could spend money in a tourist shopping trap. The sales pitch also included misleading claims about obsidian. The guide presented obsidian as having scientifically proven healing properties ( a harvard study he said loool ) i and promoted its use for healing and massage as if this were established science. In the end, most people were just buying chips and soda, not the ridiculously overpriced souvenirs. I did not sign up for a shopping tour, and this stop was not mentioned in the itinerary. And instead of making that a one-off stop, they doubled down with a tequila tasting shop, which again was not mentioned in the itinerary. And the tequila prices ? I tought i was paying for a bottle in Monaco not Mexico ... We could have arrived at Chichén Itzá much earlier and spent more time at the archaeological site. Or, even better, that time could have been used to spend more than the less than roughly 30 minutes we ended up getting in Valladolid if not plainly go home early ... As for the food, let’s not even go there. They call it a buffet, but the catch is that no drinks are included. And the food itself? Everything ( we arr talking about a couple of plates available including the local dish ... ) was bland. Even the vegetable soup was watered down beyond belief. I was not expecting Michelin-star food, but almost any street food would have tasted better. Basically, this is just a ride with unnecessary stops and a prison-grade meal in between. There were no seat belts on any of the transportation rides. The seats were also kindergarten-sized. Even the cheapest low-cost airline gives you more legroom. When the first bus picked us up, we then waited more than 30 minutes parked next to garbage, when we could simply have been picked up later and slept longer, or spent that time actually visiting somewhere. Nobody to say why we stopped until we understood it was to change busses. The guide Alfredo fabulated so many maya stories that i switched from Ai fact checking to using AI as the guide itself. I almost never leave reviews for tours, even when they are bad, but this one easily makes my bottom 1%. One star cuz the bus has AC and water.

Sat Mexico tour and travel
I essentially went in the same trip with a different tour company last year, but I washed my husband to see Chichén Itza. The difference between last year’s experience and today was like night and day. The app and chat was extremely helpful to communicate. The guide and driver were clear on the instructions. Very professional and I would recommend this tour company to all.

Ultimate experience in Mexico!
My tour guide was Norma. Amazing. She had so many intimate details about the history. As a non white person I appreciated her connection to Chitzen Itcha. Our driver was on time, and they both had a good sense of humor. We were on our honeymoon and had amazing time! Lunch at the cenote was delicious and the cenote was extraordianry and refreshing. I definitely recommend to anyone wanting an all inclusive and detailed tour!
