Horrible waste of time
I could not access the quest I paid for it three separate times on Viator and on the actual app. We spent about two hours trying to figure it out, wasting our day as well.I also emailed and messaged them and received no reply so we left the city without being able to do it. Nothing worked from our codes ,to retrying on the actual app,and following all directions that were given to us. It’s the next day and I still have not received anything or a reply back. It was also no way to contact anyone or besides through email or messages on the app.
Response from the operator: Hi there, We are incredibly sorry to hear that you experienced such a frustrating delay and were unable to access your game while visiting Chicago. This is certainly not the seamless onboarding experience we aim to provide for our players. Our exploration games are fully digital and designed to unlock automatically within the Questo app as soon as a Viator booking voucher code is entered. Because we monitor our system logs and support channels around the clock to assist players with real-time troubleshooting, we are deeply concerned to hear that your codes did not register and that your messages did not reach us. We want to investigate exactly what went wrong with your booking transmission and support ticket so we can resolve this properly. Please reach out to our management team directly at [insert support email address] with your Viator booking reference number so we can look into our logs, find your messages, and issue you a full solution. Best regards, The Questo Team

Fun, cultural experience!
Fun dragon themed game! Took us to a lot of sites. Easy to follow, and learned a lot about the history of Chinatown. Definitely recommend for a fun experience!

These feets we're made for walking
The scavenger hunt was fun. I just wish there was a pause button for potty and snack breaks. Our overall completion time was 2 hours after the food breaks. Who can concentrate on playing a game when your next to Chinatown and all the restaurants they offer.
Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re glad you had fun exploring Chinatown with the Dragon Kings Quest. You make a great point about breaks—we’ll keep your feedback in mind as we continue improving the experience. And you’re absolutely right, it’s hard to resist all the delicious food options in Chinatown!

Fun and informative game!
Very fun way to see and explore Chinatown! Would definitely recommend! Took me to see many beautiful areas and sights in old and new Chinatown.

Some Glitches But Still Good
This was a great way to learn more about Chinatown and its history. The puzzles were just challenging enough to keep us engaged. One of the landmarks is under construction so we weren't able to solve that portion of the quest. We took a group photo but the app glitched so unfortunately, it didn't save it and I don't have any photos of the experience. I'm looking forward to signing up for more quests in the future!
Response from the operator: Thank you for playing the Dragon Kings Quest and for sharing your experience. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed exploring Chinatown and found the puzzles engaging. We’re sorry about the construction detour and the photo glitch — we know how important those group memories are. Our team is looking into improving the photo-saving feature so future quests run more smoothly. We look forward to welcoming you back on another quest soon.

Why this scores 55
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Chicago Chinatown: Dragon Kings Puzzle Adventure: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Chicago.
How much does Chicago Chinatown: Dragon Kings Puzzle Adventure cost?
+
Prices start at $8 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Chicago usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Chicago Chinatown: Dragon Kings Puzzle Adventure take?
+
Plan for about 0.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Chicago is not rushed.
Is Chicago Chinatown: Dragon Kings Puzzle Adventure worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 55 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (3.8/5 across 10 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Chicago, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Chicago Chinatown: Dragon Kings Puzzle Adventure?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Chicago Chinatown: Dragon Kings Puzzle Adventure suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Chicago Chinatown: Dragon Kings Puzzle Adventure?
+
Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Chicago can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Chicago and add a light layer if any part of the 0.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Chicago Chinatown: Dragon Kings Puzzle Adventure start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Chicago within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Chicago?
+
Chicago's signature experience is still the architecture boat cruise, and the difference between the docent-led originals and the party-boat imitators is the single biggest quality gap in the city. Beyond the river: gangster history walks, Art Institute access, deep-dish and hot-dog crawls, and skydeck timed entry. Outty Ranking leans on guide credentials and how consistently the promised route runs. On Outty we rank every Chicago experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Original Chicago Architecture Interiors Tour: Dazzling Interiors, Chicago Murder Mystery Tour, Chicago Favorites Ultimate Food and Walking Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Chicago?
+
May to October. Winter cruises stop running when the river ices. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Chicago?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
