    Amazing Day Trip!

Annie made this excursion to the Sticky Waterfalls, Sacred Spring, Bua Tong Cave, and Blue Temple magical. She shared profound, firsthand knowledge of all the sites that you would never get from a standard guidebook. Annie pced the group perfectly and kept everyone laughing. Her upbeat spirit was infectious. Visiting the Blue Temple was an unforgettable cultural experience. The authentic Thai lunch at the chosen local restaurant tasted incredibe. If you want a fun, respectful, and deeply immersive excursion outside the city, book with Annie. She takes care of every detail. Highly recommended!

Response from the operator: Wow, thank you so much for your wonderful words! Reading this truly made my day. Thank you for recommending me to other travelers looking for an immersive escape outside the city. Safe travels, and I hope to see you back in Chiang Mai someday!

    Wonderful Day Trip!

An amazing day trip! The day before she messaged me to get some information including my shoe size and lunch order. She also gave me the pick up location that was a 3 minute walk from my Chiang Mai hotel. We drove 1 hour to a small cafe where we could use the bathroom and order breakfast. Then we entered the National Park right as it opened (meaning it was not crowded). The water shoes Annie gave me were great and she also provided a dry bag for my cell phone/sunglasses. While going up and down the waterfall, Annie knows all the tricks of the trade. Annie has been doing this for 10 years and is truly a Sticky Waterfalls Expert! She knows the few rocks that have become slippery and can show you where not to step. She could see that I was hesitant so she would show me good places to step. I could have climbed up and down the waterfalls all day long. It was so refreshing and fun! Afterwards we changed and walked to the Seven Colors Fountain. Then we had a short drive to a temple in a cave. You have to walk up a giant staircase to get to the temple and it was buggy. Also, there were bats in the cave, so the cave wasn't my favorite. Then we got lunch back at the cafe and drove back to Chiang Mai.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for the fantastic review! I had a wonderful time guiding you, and I'm so glad you loved climbing the waterfalls all day long. As a guide here for 10 years, making sure you feel safe on the rocks is my absolute favorite part of being a "Sticky Waterfalls Expert." Thank you for the feedback on the cave temple, too! I hope to see you again on your next trip to Chiang Mai!

    Amazing day

Amazing day! Annie is an outstanding guide and the experience was phenomenal! We were one of the first people to arrive at the park, allowing us to enjoy the falls before it got packed. We climbed over various limestone formations and saw a few critters (crabs, fish, and insects). Annie was so engaging, funny, and very passionate about the outdoors. We learned a lot from her fascinating stories. Also the food was really tasty and Annie gave us some great restaurant recommendations in Chiang Mai. Thank you.

    Best Tour in Chiang Mai

Best Tour we did in Chiang Mai. Guide Annie was punctual and very well organized. We enjoyed the Waterfalls a lot.Guide took great photos, was knowledgeable, friendly and fluent in English . Nice add on was that we arrived early before the crowds - when we left it was quite busy. Lunch was also tasty. Thanks for this great day out Annie!

Chiang Mai: Sticky Waterfalls, Lunch, and 12 Zodiac Temple: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Chiang Mai.

How much does Chiang Mai: Sticky Waterfalls, Lunch, and 12 Zodiac Temple cost?

    +

Prices start at $40 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Chiang Mai usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Chiang Mai: Sticky Waterfalls, Lunch, and 12 Zodiac Temple take?

    +

Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Chiang Mai is not rushed.

Is Chiang Mai: Sticky Waterfalls, Lunch, and 12 Zodiac Temple worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 73 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 18 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Chiang Mai, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Chiang Mai: Sticky Waterfalls, Lunch, and 12 Zodiac Temple?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Chiang Mai: Sticky Waterfalls, Lunch, and 12 Zodiac Temple suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Chiang Mai: Sticky Waterfalls, Lunch, and 12 Zodiac Temple?

    +

Around 6 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Chiang Mai can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Chiang Mai and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Chiang Mai: Sticky Waterfalls, Lunch, and 12 Zodiac Temple start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Chiang Mai within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Chiang Mai?

    +

On Outty we rank every Chiang Mai experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Half-Day Thai Cooking Class at Organic Farm in Chiang Mai, Full Day Thai Cooking at Farm (Chiang Mai), Chiang Mai Elephant Sanctuary, Bamboo Rafting and Waterfall Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Chiang Mai?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Chiang Mai?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
