Bua Tong is a spring-fed limestone waterfall that stays grippy and clear all year, so you can walk straight up the falls even in the rainy season. We pair it with the calmest stretch of the Mae Taeng River: a slow, guided float past jungle and rice fields with a support crew on the bank, then SaGee Waterfall's natural rock slide right behind our own riverside base camp. Small groups, hot showers, lockers and a Thai lunch included - one relaxed day, two very different waterfalls.

Unforgettable
We had an amazing time water tubing in Chiang Mai! Everything was fantastic from start to finish. Our tour guide, Jack, was hilarious and could sing too! The great music made the whole experience even more fun, and we were never bored for a second. Getting to see the elephants up close was truly unforgettable, and we also got to see beautiful waterfalls along the way! 🐘 Jack really made the tour special, and everything was so well organized. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Chiang Mai.

The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Chiang Mai?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Chiang Mai?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
