Lovely birthday celebration
We went to celebrate our friend’s birthday, and it was a really lovely way to spend the day together. We started with the cherry blossom workshop, which was really fun and surprisingly relaxing. We all made our own pastries from scratch; they turned out so cute and beautiful. After the workshop, we stayed for the vegetarian lunch set together. The food was fresh, delicious and beautifully presented, and the peaceful atmosphere made it feel like a really special birthday lunch. It was a wonderful combination of doing something creative and then sitting down to enjoy lunch together. We also got to take our handmade pastries home afterwards as well. The staff were all very nice and patient, I also liked the zen atmosphere. Would definitely come back for tea.
Response from the operator: Thank you for celebrating such a special occasion with us! We’re delighted you enjoyed the workshop and lunch, we would love to welcome you back for tea!

Sweet surprise for my family
While travelling in Shanghai with my family, I wanted to find something relaxing to do on my own for an afternoon and came across this cherry blossom pastry workshop. I really enjoyed learning how to make the pastries from scratch, from preparing the dough and filling them with red bean paste to shaping each one into a little cherry blossom. The teacher was very patient and the envrioment also very peaceful. The best part was that I could pack up the pastries I made and bring them back to my family. Everyone were very impressed that I had actually made them myself!
Response from the operator: Thank you for your lovely review, we’re so happy you enjoyed the pastry-making experience and could surprise your family with your own handmade pastries!
