If you're looking for a wonderful and educational day out with an expert, friendly, and fluent English-speaking guide, then this trip is highly recommended! With Rémy from Canvas, visiting Taoping and Ganbao is a real experience. Not only does he know his way around this area, but the lunch in Ganboa was also well taken care of. Yes, the day trip isn't cheap, but in our opinion, it's more than worth the money if you want to see more of Tibetan culture. We spent over 12 hours on the road with our guide. Instead of overcrowded tourist villages, we found peace and quiet in traditional villages with stunning views of the mountains. Thank you, Rémy, for a fantastic day—highly recommended!

Although I’ve been traveling for business throughout much of China since the 1980s, I decided to book this tour. With Remy, I really hit the jackpot. He’s very knowledgeable about Chinese history, came well-prepared with a brief presentation, and is very personable. He addressed my questions individually. It was a complete success!
