An okay experience compared to their very excellent Food Tours of other cities.
Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Chefchaouen and its geography. Compared to the Food tours in Casablanca, Marrakech, Fes and Rabat this one was a little too light on the food part of the tour. This is probably a very easy fix for future tours. We ended the tour asking by asking our guide to give us a recommendation for where to eat lunch and it was a great recommendation.
Response from the operator: Thank you very much for your thoughtful feedback! We’re really glad you enjoyed the historical and geographical insights, and that the lunch recommendation hit the spot We appreciate your honest comment about the food portion—this is very helpful, and we’ll definitely take it into account to improve the experience for future tours. Thank you again for sharing your experience with us!

Family-Friendly Culinary Adventure in Chefchaouen with an Amazing Guide
We had an amazing experience on our food tour in Chefchaouen with our guide Youssef. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience perfect for our family, including two kids and a baby. Youssef was patient and engaging, making sure everyone felt included and comfortable throughout the tour. We tried so many different dishes and local specialties that we wouldn't have discovered on our own. It was a wonderful way to experience the flavors of the region, from fresh bread and goats cheese to traditional Moroccan sweets. The tour wasn't just about food—it also gave us an opportunity to meet locals, learn about the culture, and explore the beautiful streets of Chefchaouen. If you're looking for a family-friendly, authentic experience in Morocco, I highly recommend this tour, and Youssef made it all the more special!

Moroccan dream tour
I highly recommend visiting Chefchaouen, a picturesque town nestled in the Rif Mountains of northern Morocco. Known for its narrow streets and bright blue painted buildings, Chefchaouen offers a unique and enchanting experience to its visitors.
Response from the operator: We thank you for your trust and your great testimonial. We are very happy and delighted to know that our work and our efforts to satisfy you have been appreciated. Looking forward to welcoming you in other experiences with Moroccan Food Tour.

Chefchaouen Street Food Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Chefchaouen.
How much does Chefchaouen Street Food Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $68 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Chefchaouen usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Chefchaouen Street Food Tour take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Chefchaouen is not rushed.
Is Chefchaouen Street Food Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.8/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Chefchaouen, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Chefchaouen Street Food Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Chefchaouen Street Food Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Chefchaouen Street Food Tour?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Chefchaouen can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Chefchaouen and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Chefchaouen Street Food Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Chefchaouen within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Chefchaouen?
+
On Outty we rank every Chefchaouen experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Chefchaouen Private Tour with Local Guide | Blue City Walk, Explore chefchaouen like a local, Atlas Mountains 2-Day Trek: Azzaden Valley Escape. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Chefchaouen?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Chefchaouen?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
