Private cooking demo with dining at a beautiful home
My husband and I had a wonderful experience with our Cesarina, Alessandra! She was so welcoming, and we learned some new cooking skills and recipes we're excited to try at home. We spent the evening at her home, which was peaceful with a breathtaking view. We are grateful we got to have homemade Sorrentine dishes.

10/10 experience
We had the best time with Laura cooking a homemade meal at her apartment in Sorrento. It was so close to our hotel and Town Centre, it worked perfectly as we were exhausted and didn’t want to drive out of town very far. We learned some tips and tricks to making home made pasta dough and LOVED the tiramisu! We got to take home our leftovers and had them for breakfast the next day. Would 1000% recommend this to anyone visiting Sorrento!

Amazing experience
Today, we had one of the most amazing cooking classes ever! From the moment they picked us up from our accommodation to the time they dropped us off, everything was perfect. Our hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel like part of their family in their beautiful home. We kicked off the experience with a delicious deep-fried Nutella ravioli, setting the tone for an incredible culinary journey. We then made and tried three different types of pasta, with the gnocchi being our absolute favorite—so soft and flavorful! To top it all off, we finished with the classic tiramisu, which was simply divine. The Prosecco and red wine complemented the meal perfectly. The entire experience was not just about cooking but about enjoying good food, great company, and learning from passionate hosts. This class was more than we could have asked for, and we’re excited to bring these recipes home to share with our friends and family. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area!

Amazing farm to table meal with family that welcomed us with open arms
We were lucky enough to be placed with Rachele and her wonderful family for lunch and a cooking demo. It was the highlight of our trip for my group of 11. From start to finish Rachele and her family treated us like family and we couldn’t be happier with the experience we had. The food was out of this world and we enjoyed taking part with the preparation while also watching her family work together to create such a fantastic farm to table meal. The view was gorgeous from the table and her home was immaculate. Don’t hesitate to book now!

Great Experience
Such a lovely afternoon with Martina and her Nona. Martina demonstrated how easy it is to cook a 3-course meal, including fried pizza, tagliatelle, and meatballs, followed by a dessert made by Nona. I’m sure it won’t be as easy for me to replicate. The meal was delicious and included wine and limoncello.

Cesarine: Dining & Cooking Demo at Local's Home in Sorrento: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sorrento.
How much does Cesarine: Dining & Cooking Demo at Local's Home in Sorrento cost?
+
Prices start at $65 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sorrento usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cesarine: Dining & Cooking Demo at Local's Home in Sorrento take?
+
Plan for about 2.5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sorrento is not rushed.
Is Cesarine: Dining & Cooking Demo at Local's Home in Sorrento worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Sorrento, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cesarine: Dining & Cooking Demo at Local's Home in Sorrento?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cesarine: Dining & Cooking Demo at Local's Home in Sorrento suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Cesarine: Dining & Cooking Demo at Local's Home in Sorrento?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sorrento can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sorrento and add a light layer if any part of the 2.5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cesarine: Dining & Cooking Demo at Local's Home in Sorrento start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sorrento within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sorrento?
+
On Outty we rank every Sorrento experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pizza School with Wine and Limoncello Tasting in a Local Farm, Private Amalfi Coast Day Tour from Sorrento or Naples, Sorrento Farm and Food Experience including Olive Oil, Limoncello, Wine tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sorrento?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sorrento?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
