Amazing Food Tour
I’d highly recommend this tour, thanks to our amazing guide Peter. Friendly and engaging, he considered everyone’s dietary needs before setting off. The route was thoughtful and well planned, we visited areas of the city that we would never have found without him. As well as a food tour we learned about Budapest too, and Peter was more than happy to stay after the tour to answer any questions. The food was great - make sure you’re hungry - and there were drinks too. A great group as well from Stockholm, Montreal, Taiwan and Hong Kong, which made the whole tour a great experience.

Kitti Was Amazing, But The Food Fell Short!
Our guide, Kitti, was AMAZING and knowledgeable. It is obvious that she loves people and loves her job. In conjunction with taking us on a food tour, she was going above and beyond and gave us a Hungarian history lesson. I loved it! She was amazing with answering questions and she was warm and genuine. The food, however, had a lot to be desired. It didn’t feel like we received the amount of food and drinks that we paid for. Based on our experience, I would say that the entire food/drink experience that we received would have added up to about 30€ maximum, and I believe that that is pushing it. Kitti, you are an absolute gem, but the food fell far below my expectations!

Come hungry and ready to try some local foods! There is a lot of walking of course but sometimes it’s a bit fast so you may struggles to keep up.

Hungarian food tour - good guide, not great value
Great guide, Agnes. Although the total tour price seemed expensive for the amount of food we got overall. Chicken paprikash which was the main course was a tiny portion.
