Great experience and staff on boat but….

The catamaran itself was a great experience, and the crew on board really made the evening enjoyable. They were friendly, attentive, and worked hard to make sure everyone had a good time. The sunset and other views were beautiful, and once we were out on the water, everything was fantastic. Unfortunately, the coordination before boarding left a lot to be desired. The meeting times and instructions we received were confusing and didn’t match what actually happened, resulting in unnecessary waiting and frustration. Better communication and organization would make a huge difference. Overall, I’d still recommend the experience because the staff on the catamaran were excellent, but be prepared for some disorganization before you get on board.

Good time on the Sea of Cortez

Fun Catamaran. They served drinks (Margaritas, Beer, some other mixed drinks) and the snacks were basically chips and salsa and guacamole - the guacamole was very good. The natural beauty is stunning. The crew was very nice and fun.

    It’s a scam

They advertise 50% off then hit you with a dock fee of $35 that is hidden in the details. It’s the same price as other cruises for a much worse experience.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. We would like to kindly clarify that all pricing details, including any dock fees or additional charges, are clearly outlined during the booking process and within the reservation before confirmation. We truly appreciate your comments. If you would like, please feel free to contact us directly so we can provide you with more personalized assistance and follow up on your case.

    Solid Evening Cruise

Great festive experience. Friendly staff. Great cocktails. Only caveat is the music is for younger audiences. Half the boat were Gen X. The music was for a young nightclub

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback, we’re glad to hear you enjoyed the festive atmosphere, our friendly team, and the cocktails. We appreciate your comment regarding the music and will take it into consideration to improve the overall experience for all our guests. We hope to welcome you again in the future.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your kind words! We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed the experience and that our crew made it special for you. We truly appreciate your support and look forward to welcoming you again soon.

Catamaran Sunset Cruise with Open Bar in Cabo San Lucas: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cabo San Lucas.

How much does Catamaran Sunset Cruise with Open Bar in Cabo San Lucas cost?

    +

Prices start at $66 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cabo San Lucas usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Catamaran Sunset Cruise with Open Bar in Cabo San Lucas take?

    +

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cabo San Lucas is not rushed.

Is Catamaran Sunset Cruise with Open Bar in Cabo San Lucas worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable family friendly in Cabo San Lucas, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Catamaran Sunset Cruise with Open Bar in Cabo San Lucas?

    +

No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.

Is Catamaran Sunset Cruise with Open Bar in Cabo San Lucas suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Catamaran Sunset Cruise with Open Bar in Cabo San Lucas?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cabo San Lucas can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cabo San Lucas and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Catamaran Sunset Cruise with Open Bar in Cabo San Lucas start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cabo San Lucas within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cabo San Lucas?

    +

On Outty we rank every Cabo San Lucas experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cabo Desert Off-Road & Beach Horseback Combo and Tequila Tasting, Humpback Whale Watching Tour in Cabo San Lucas, Cabo All-Inclusive Private Beach Club with Open Bar and Buffet. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cabo San Lucas?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cabo San Lucas?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
