Unforgettable Catamaran Experience

My wife and I had an unforgettable time on this Catamaran excursion! Everything was so well organized from start to finish. The food was absolutely amazing, and the staff were beyond friendly — you can tell they truly love what they do and care about making every guest’s experience special. The ride itself was fun and engaging, with great music and fascinating information about dolphins, birds, and whales. Snorkeling was a blast, and swimming in the ocean was such a highlight. The slide from the Catamaran into the water and the floating mat to relax on were unique touches that made the day even better. We would definitely do this excursion again with the same incredible staff, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, memorable adventure on the water!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re thrilled to hear that you and your wife had such an unforgettable experience. It’s fantastic to know you enjoyed the food, music, snorkeling, swimming, and the fun activities on board. We’ll be sure to share your kind words with our amazing crew. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back soon!

It was a great tour!...

It was a great tour! Everyone on the boat was absolutely wonderful and was very attentive. My friends and I got sea sick just because the waves were kinda rough but even that couldn’t ruin our time! Truly recommend booking! Definitely an experience you don’t want to miss. BUT if you do get seasick, I give you fair warning and book at your own risk lol!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your wonderful feedback! We’re delighted that you enjoyed the tour and appreciated our attentive crew. We’re sorry to hear that the waves caused some seasickness, but we’re glad it didn’t prevent you from having a great time! Thank you for the recommendation—we hope to welcome you again soon!

Allan will be delighted to know he made your experience so special, and we’ll be sure to share your compliments with our entire team—especially the wonderful lady who prepared your meal! We got to see a school of...

We got to see a school of dolphins. They swam alongside us and we circled around a couple of times. It was magical. Snorkeling was a bit cloudy, so we didn't see a lot, but it was nice just floating out there.

Response from the operator: Thank you for sharing your experience with us! Seeing a school of dolphins swimming alongside the boat truly is a magical moment, and we’re so happy you got to enjoy it. We appreciate your honest feedback about the snorkeling conditions—visibility can sometimes vary depending on the weather and ocean conditions, but we’re glad you still enjoyed the peaceful experience of being in the water. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again for another unforgettable adventure!

Catamaran

Good vessel, good drinks, good food, good time. Fun stop for snorkeling, conditions a little challenging to see wildlife but staff made it worth it.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your great feedback! We’re very happy to hear that you enjoyed the vessel, food, drinks, and overall experience. It’s wonderful to know our team helped make the trip enjoyable, even with the snorkeling conditions being a bit challenging. We truly appreciate your comments and hope to welcome you again for another fantastic time in Costa Rica!

Catamaran Cruise from Manuel Antonio with Snorkeling: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Quepos.

How much does Catamaran Cruise from Manuel Antonio with Snorkeling cost?

+

Prices start at $48 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Quepos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Catamaran Cruise from Manuel Antonio with Snorkeling take?

+

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Quepos is not rushed.

Is Catamaran Cruise from Manuel Antonio with Snorkeling worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 41 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Quepos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Catamaran Cruise from Manuel Antonio with Snorkeling?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Catamaran Cruise from Manuel Antonio with Snorkeling suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Catamaran Cruise from Manuel Antonio with Snorkeling?

+

Around 14 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Quepos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Quepos and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Catamaran Cruise from Manuel Antonio with Snorkeling start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Quepos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Quepos?

+

On Outty we rank every Quepos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Whitewater Rafting Savegre Class II-III plus Waterfall Manuel Antonio, Manuel Antonio Canopy Tour - Longest Twin Zip Line in Central America, Waterfall Ziplining & Canyoning. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Quepos?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Quepos?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
