Great day learning about Jewish and Moroccan history in Casablanca

Abdul was terrific. Not only was he knowledgeable about Jewish history in Morocco, his enthusiasm for Moroccan culture and the city of Casablanca in particular was contagious. He took us to some off the beaten track places, such as a Jewish bakery, and gave us a tour of Casablanca itself. The car was comfortable. Our driver and Abdul were extremely personable. We would recommend this Jewish tour with Abdul

Response from the operator: Dear Marji and Henry Thank you so much for your wonderful review and kind recommendation! It was a real pleasure sharing Casablanca’s rich Jewish heritage and Moroccan culture with you. I’m especially happy that you enjoyed discovering some of the city’s hidden gems, including the Jewish bakery, and exploring Casablanca beyond the usual tourist attractions. For me, the greatest joy of being a guide is bringing history to life and helping my guests connect with the authentic spirit of Morocco. I’ll also be sure to share your kind words with our driver. We truly appreciate your trust and are delighted that you enjoyed the comfort of the car and the warm, personal service. Thank you again for recommending our Jewish heritage tour. It was a pleasure hosting you in Casablanca, and I hope you take home wonderful memories of your time in Morocco! Warmest regards from Casablanca, Abdellatif

EXCELLENT Jewish Knowledge and Heritage Tour

We have been on a Jewish Heritage Tour for 15 days in Morocco. This by far has been our favorite tour. The knowledge and information was exceptional. We saw a lot. We never felt rushed. Our tour guide was A plus plus. He has his degree in Jewish Heritage so with so few Jewish people in Morocco we were extremely fortunate to have him be our guide. I highly recommend!

Response from the operator: Dear Nancy, Thank you so much for your wonderful review and kind words ; they truly made my day. It was an honor to be part of your 15-day Jewish heritage journey through Morocco, and I am so glad our Casablanca day stood out as your favorite. That means everything to me. Morocco’s Jewish heritage is a subject very close to my heart, and I always feel privileged to share it with guests who approach it with such genuine curiosity and appreciation. I hope the memories you made here stay with you for a long time, and I would be delighted to welcome you back to Morocco one day. With warm regards from Casablanca, Abdellatif

    Great tour

We had a wonderful two-day tour of Casablanca and Rabat with Mr. Abdellatif. He has an extensive knowledge of Moroccan history, and of Jewish history and culture. He structured the days around our interests and the places we wanted to see. I would recommend him very highly. We have taken many tours. and based on my experience, he is an excellent guide.

Response from the operator: Dear Stephen, Thank you so much for your kind and generous review. Your words truly mean a great deal to me. It was a real pleasure guiding you, Chris, Rick, and Susan through Casablanca and Rabat. Knowing that you enjoyed the experience and felt that the days were tailored to your interests is exactly what I strive for with every group I have the pleasure of guiding. Coming from such well-traveled guests, your appreciation is especially meaningful to me. I believe that the best travel experiences go beyond visiting places; they are about sharing stories, discovering different perspectives, and creating lasting memories along the way. I hope Morocco has left a special place in your hearts, and I would be delighted to welcome you back one day for more discoveries and unforgettable experiences. Wishing you all the very best. Stay safe and healthy! Warm regards,

    Inclusive Jewish Moroccan history

Mr. Abdul Abdellatif was outstanding from the first message. Communication on TripAdvisor and WhatsApp was clear and helpful, and he built the day around what we wanted to see. He arrived with a driver in a new, air-conditioned Mercedes minivan. The driver dropped us at the front of each stop, then circled and picked us up at the back. No waiting in the sun, no parking fuss. Clean, comfortable, and a real plus on a warm Casablanca day. Abdul is knowledgeable, easygoing, and flexible. He personalized the route, gave us extra time where we wanted it, and varied the sites so the day never felt rushed. The Moroccan Jewish Museum and the synagogues were highlights, and his context made the history land. The listing mentions a kosher lunch. That was not our priority, so we skipped it. Lunch is at your own cost, and there are plenty of kosher restaurants if you want one. We would book him again and recommend him to anyone wanting a private, well-organized day in Casablanca.

Response from the operator: Dear Ian and Ruth, Thank you both so much for this wonderfully detailed review and for taking the time to describe your day so precisely. It will help future travelers know exactly what to expect. I am especially glad the logistics worked well for you both. The drop-off and pick-up system with our driver is something we have refined over many years and it makes a real difference on a warm Casablanca day. The Museum and the synagogues were the heart of our day together , and I am glad the historical context added meaning to what you saw. That is always what I hope for. Thank you also for your honest note about the kosher lunch ; the option is there for those who want it, and completely flexible for those who do not. It was a genuine pleasure spending the day with you both. I look forward to welcoming you again whenever your travels bring you back to Morocco. Warm regards

    Superb tour

This is a superb tour not only of Jewish Casablanca but also of the city itself. Mr. Abdellatif is a professional guide, has studied Jewish Moroccan history, and is a wonderful conversational partner about Morocco and the world in general. His tour provides insight into the ongoing Jewish presence in the city as well as the rich history. This is a superb tour in every way.

Response from the operator: Dear Gillian Brown, Thank you so much for your wonderful and thoughtful review. It was truly a pleasure to meet someone as intelligent, thoughtful, and sensitive as you. I’m especially grateful for your kind words about my knowledge and our conversations. For me, guiding is not only about visiting places, but also about sharing stories, creating meaningful connections, and having genuine conversations about Morocco, its history, and its people. It was a real pleasure meeting you, and I sincerely hope to welcome you back to Morocco again in the future. Best regards,

Casablanca Jewish Heritage Private Tour with Kosher Lunch: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Casablanca.

How much does Casablanca Jewish Heritage Private Tour with Kosher Lunch cost?

    +

Prices start at $217 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Casablanca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Casablanca Jewish Heritage Private Tour with Kosher Lunch take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Casablanca is not rushed.

Is Casablanca Jewish Heritage Private Tour with Kosher Lunch worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 60 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 8 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Casablanca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Casablanca Jewish Heritage Private Tour with Kosher Lunch?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Casablanca Jewish Heritage Private Tour with Kosher Lunch suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Casablanca Jewish Heritage Private Tour with Kosher Lunch?

    +

Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Casablanca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Casablanca and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Casablanca Jewish Heritage Private Tour with Kosher Lunch start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Casablanca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Casablanca?

    +

On Outty we rank every Casablanca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Casablanca Hassan II Mosque and City Highlights Tour, Casablanca Half-day Guided Tour with Hassan II mosque ticket, Private Guided Tour of Casablanca Including Mosque Entrance. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Casablanca?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Casablanca?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
