Casablanca Jassan Mosque city tour experience

Our driver was great. He was very nice and very attentive. I had forgotten a wrap to go into the mosque and he drove a few minutes to pick me up one and some waters. He also helped us negotiate in the Hana’s and old medina. He was a great driver and guide for our first day in Casablanca. Highly recommend!

Response from the operator: we are happy for your satisfaction Thank you for your nice review and you are always welcome in the future

Casablanca Highlights

Our guide was courteous and timely. There was a bit of a language barrier which may have been the reason there was little narration about sites as we drove. At the mosque, there was an English speaking guide. That particular site was quite interesting.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your nice review and know that you are always welcome in the future

Buyer Beware!

Buyer beware! We were traveling by cruise ship. Because of weather we were not able to dock in Casablanca, As soon as I was informed (two hours before the appointed time) I notified our guide. This was totally out of my control yet I was denied a refund. They pocketed my $195 and did absolutely nothing. Another irritation was they tried to upsell the night before our scheduled excursion . I was told for $60 more I could get a certified guide to go along with us. When I booked it the listing mentioned a guide but later was told he was just a driver. This is a total scam.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; however, we would like to clarify the facts. Your excursion in Casablanca was fully prepared and confirmed in advance, including the vehicle with driver, a guide, and pre-purchased entrance tickets to the Hassan II Mosque. All arrangements were completed and paid for prior to your scheduled departure. We were informed of your cancellation only two hours before the excursion due to your cruise ship being unable to dock because of weather conditions. While we fully understand that this situation was beyond your control, it was also beyond ours. At that stage, all services had already been secured and could not be canceled or refunded. Regarding refunds, such claims must be addressed to the cruise company, as they are responsible for itinerary changes and missed stops. Concerning the guide, a driver-guide service was included in your booking, and the option of a licensed certified guide was offered as an optional upgrade for a more in-depth experience. This was clearly presented as an option, not an obligation. Finally, we strongly reject the statement that our company is a “scam.” We are a professional and reputable service provider, and all services were genuinely prepared and ready for your arrival. Unfortunately, this situation resulted from circumstances entirely outside our control.

Casablanca City Tour with Hassan II Mosque Ticket: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Casablanca.

How much does Casablanca City Tour with Hassan II Mosque Ticket cost?

+

Prices start at $44 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Casablanca usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Casablanca City Tour with Hassan II Mosque Ticket take?

+

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Casablanca is not rushed.

Is Casablanca City Tour with Hassan II Mosque Ticket worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 65 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 26 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Casablanca, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Casablanca City Tour with Hassan II Mosque Ticket?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Casablanca City Tour with Hassan II Mosque Ticket suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Casablanca City Tour with Hassan II Mosque Ticket?

+

Around 9 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Casablanca can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Casablanca and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Casablanca City Tour with Hassan II Mosque Ticket start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Casablanca within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Casablanca?

+

On Outty we rank every Casablanca experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Casablanca Half-day Guided Tour with Hassan II mosque ticket, Private Guided Tour of Casablanca Including Mosque Entrance, Fez Guided Tour with lunch from Casablanca. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Casablanca?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Casablanca?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
