The buildings have not...
The buildings have not been maintained and are run down. I did enjoy learning about the Moorish arts how they have been combined with the Art Deco style in Casablanca.

An excellent, patient and knowledgeable tour guide for Casablanca Walking Street Tour
I did a walking tour of Casablanca with my wonderful guide Wahbi. I had a fabulous experience. He met me at the door of my hotel and off we went. We started with coffee at Cafe France at my request, then spent several hours exploring the art deco buildings including Cinema Rialto and the Hotel Transatlantique, along Avenue Mohammad V and Avenue Paris especially, with tonnes of extra side streets. We visited an impressive fish market. We also saw many of the important and impressive government buildings and areas, too many to name! Then we ended up inside the walls of the old city. Wahbi was extremely patient, letting me stop to take 100’s of photos everywhere. I bought ice cream and he actually held it for me so I could do photos, so gracious of him! Wahbi is extremely knowledgeable about the buildings and the history of Casablanca. I highly recommend doing a tour with him, you will not regret it. It was well worth the money!
