  6. White Grotta

The White Grotto is another of the natural wonders of Capri, located along the coast of the island, west of the more famous Blue Grotto. It is famous for its particular coloration and for the formations of stalactites and stalagmites that decorate it, which, together with the light that filters through the entrance, create a unique and suggestive atmosphere. Unlike the Blue Grotto, the White Grotto owes its name to the white light that illuminates the walls of limestone rock, giving an ethereal and bright appearance to the environment. This phenomenon is due to the combination of sunlight entering through a natural opening and reflections on the crystal clear water. The cave is accessible by sea. Inside, the rock walls are enriched by stalactites and stalagmites that form curious and fascinating groups of calcareous concretions, helping to make the experience even more suggestive.

  8. Grotta Verde

The Green Grotto of Capri is a picturesque sea cavity located along the east coast of the island, not far from the famous Blue Grotto. It is known for the green light that illuminates its crystal clear waters, an effect created by the refraction of sunlight through an underwater entrance that is located below sea level. The interior of the cave is characterized by rock walls covered with algae, which amplify the green reflection of the water. The Green Grotto is only accessible by sea. The visit is a fascinating experience, thanks to the mysterious atmosphere and the beauty of the green reflections that mix with the blue of the sea. Although not as big as the Blue Grotto, it is less crowded and offers a more intimate and suggestive experience.

A perfect girls' day on the Tyrrhenian Sea

We booked the 3-hour boat tour and it did not disappoint! Our captain took us cruising past gorgeous beach clubs along the coast, and honestly, he made us feel safe and taken care of the entire time, exactly what you want for a day out with your girls. We had plenty of time to swim and soak in the most stunning turquoise water. The boat itself was beautiful, loved all the wood details and clean. We asked for local dinner recs, and he called ahead and booked us a reservation at an great restaurant back in Naples for dinner, the bruchetta, so good. Any who, such a sweet touch. Only small notes for improvement: he had cold beer on board but no wine, and no snacks or cold water which would’ve been nice to have while out on the water. Overall though, an unforgettable day and I’d recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Amalfi/Naples coast. Thank you for such a wonderful time! 🛥️☀️🇮🇹

My family and I had an awesome tour of Capri with our skipper Davide! He was knowledge, personable, and took us to the best photo spots! Although my group didn’t swim or bring bathing suits, there was an option to swim in the blue waters which was really cool. I would 1000% recommend this tour to anyone who is visiting Capri for the first time, it was truly beautiful!

Nice Boat Day Out with Friends!

This private boat tour was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Italy! Our captain, David, was fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience fun and relaxing from start to finish. Seeing Capri from the water is an experience everyone should have. David took us around the island, pointing out famous landmarks, beautiful sea caves, dramatic cliffs, and hidden coves that you simply can't appreciate from land. He was happy to answer questions, share local knowledge, and made sure we had plenty of opportunities to stop for photos and enjoy the incredible scenery. The boat was comfortable, the views were breathtaking, and the entire tour felt personalized rather than rushed. It was the perfect way to experience the beauty of Capri. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Capri. If you're considering a private boat tour, don't hesitate to book with David, you won't regret it! It was easily a 10/10 experience and one of the most memorable parts of our vacation.

Capri Private Boat Tour with Capri Skipper: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Capri.

How much does Capri Private Boat Tour with Capri Skipper cost?

+

Prices start at $235 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Capri usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Capri Private Boat Tour with Capri Skipper take?

+

Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Capri is not rushed.

Is Capri Private Boat Tour with Capri Skipper worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 47 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Capri, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Capri Private Boat Tour with Capri Skipper?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Capri Private Boat Tour with Capri Skipper suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Capri Private Boat Tour with Capri Skipper?

+

Around 16 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Capri can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Capri and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Capri Private Boat Tour with Capri Skipper start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Capri within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Capri?

+

On Outty we rank every Capri experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small Group Capri Island Boat Ride with Swimming and Limoncello, Kayak tour in Capri between caves and beaches. Photos included., Private Capri Boat Tour Local Gems and Prosecco Best Seller. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Capri?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Capri?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
