Great tour if you are limited on time
This was a great way to see the island from the water and to see many of the various Grottos in a short time period. The Blue Grotto was closed the day we went but they went around the entire island of Capri and did a great job explaining everything. We were on a tight timeline to do all the stuff we wanted to get in at Capri, so this was a perfect trip for seeing the highlights from the water and leaving time to explore the rest of Capri

Great Boat Tour with Beautiful Scenery – Could Improve English Commentary
It was a really good experience overall. The scenery was picturesque, and the boat ride was enjoyable as well. The only thing I would like to point out is that the commentary provided by the captain was mainly in Italian and other languages, which made it difficult for people who only understood English to follow. Even when we requested commentary in English, only a line or two was provided. It would have been much better to have more detailed commentary in English as well. Apart from that, the boat tour covered all the main points and was a good experience. Unfortunately, when we visited, it was high tide, so we could not change to the smaller boat to enter and see the Blue Grotto from inside. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the tour and the beautiful scenery.

Worthless vendor - their whereabouts unknown.
Do not book with Capri Coast to Coast to travel around Capri in a shared boat ride. You won't find the when you land. The booking email and tickets don’t tell you where to go. We asked several locals where to go and they had no idea. We wasted 59 € on a ride we didn’t get to take. Trip Advisor should not associate with this business. We went to the latitude and longitude of the business in Capri and it was a generic tourist outfit with no signage for Capri Coast to Coast. There were no signs we could find near the ferries or the private boats. Travel with a known boat company instead. We were disappointed not to have a boat tour of Capri.

The tour was wonderful! The guide pointed out and explained the various sites well and then got closer and stopped so we could take pictures. One of the highlights of our trip!

Why this scores 70
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Capri Coast to Coast: Boat Tour with Optional Blue Grotto: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Capri.
How much does Capri Coast to Coast: Boat Tour with Optional Blue Grotto cost?
+
Prices start at $25 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Capri usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Capri Coast to Coast: Boat Tour with Optional Blue Grotto take?
+
Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Capri is not rushed.
Is Capri Coast to Coast: Boat Tour with Optional Blue Grotto worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 773 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Capri, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Capri Coast to Coast: Boat Tour with Optional Blue Grotto?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Capri Coast to Coast: Boat Tour with Optional Blue Grotto suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Capri Coast to Coast: Boat Tour with Optional Blue Grotto?
+
Around 271 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Capri can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Capri and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Capri Coast to Coast: Boat Tour with Optional Blue Grotto start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Capri within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Capri?
+
On Outty we rank every Capri experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small Group Capri Island Boat Ride with Swimming and Limoncello, Kayak tour in Capri between caves and beaches. Photos included., Private Capri Boat Tour Local Gems and Prosecco Best Seller. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Capri?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Capri?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
