Meeting the boat felt a...
Meeting the boat felt a little disorganized. We found out the boat name and meeting point the day beforehand. You meet at the private dock, but there are dozens of boats pulling up to two spots and people hopping on. There is no one to meet you on the dock, only the second mate sending you messages via WhatsApp from the boat. The boat was nicer than most of the ones we saw at the dock. The biggest surprise/frustration was visiting the Blue Grotto. The crew told us that we could either wait 1 hour and 45 minutes to get in the little boats (plus 15 minutes in the little boats for a total of 2 hours) to enter the cave or continue our tour. It wasn’t a vote between the 12 passengers. He said if anyone wants to go, we all had to wait. I was not happy because this would have taken up 2 of the 3 hours of our trip. Fortunately it only took an hour total and we were on our way. The other thing not clear when booking the tour is you need to pay another 25 euros per person to get on the little boats. After the grotto we drove around the island and got to swim for 30 minutes. Food was basic and they only offered water, beer and prosciutto. I found out when we were getting off the boat they also had a lot of other drink options which would have been nice if they offered them. Crew was pleasant.

Capri Island Loop
Went out on the water with Paolo and although we decided not to attempt to do the Blue Grotto, Paolo made sure that the trip was well worth it, taking us to several other lovely spots around Capri, offering us lovely service, and getting us right to the front of a bay where we could swim and take many pictures.

Valid experience!
Very pleasant experience, Marco is a fantastic captain. Unfortunately, we were unable to visit the Blue Grotto due to the long wait times. Due to cloudy weather, the tour lasted half an hour less.

Federico and Vincenzo are the best.
Vincenzo and Federica are extraordinary; it was a pleasure to travel with them. The only mishap was the Blue Cave. I recommend doing it from the land as you lose almost 2 hours otherwise. Enjoy the boat trip where you see beautiful places; otherwise, you are wasting your money and will only see the Blue Cave. Yes, such a trip does not come cheap.

Great Capri boat tour
Went all around the island, learned history of Capri, time for swimming, wonderful presecco and spritz’s.

Capri Adventure Cruise: Sea Caves, Coastline & Blue Grotto Visit: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Capri.
How much does Capri Adventure Cruise: Sea Caves, Coastline & Blue Grotto Visit cost?
+
Prices start at $169 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Capri usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Capri Adventure Cruise: Sea Caves, Coastline & Blue Grotto Visit take?
+
Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Capri is not rushed.
Is Capri Adventure Cruise: Sea Caves, Coastline & Blue Grotto Visit worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 75 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 23 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Capri, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Capri Adventure Cruise: Sea Caves, Coastline & Blue Grotto Visit?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Capri Adventure Cruise: Sea Caves, Coastline & Blue Grotto Visit suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 3-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Capri Adventure Cruise: Sea Caves, Coastline & Blue Grotto Visit?
+
Around 8 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Capri can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Capri and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Capri Adventure Cruise: Sea Caves, Coastline & Blue Grotto Visit start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Capri within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Capri?
+
On Outty we rank every Capri experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Small Group Capri Island Boat Ride with Swimming and Limoncello, Kayak tour in Capri between caves and beaches. Photos included., Private Capri Boat Tour Local Gems and Prosecco Best Seller. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Capri?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Capri?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
