Turquaz balloons ran a highly professional and punctual service for us this week. We had the greatest time from start to finish. The experience was magical and I'd urge anyone to book a hot air balloon tour as it's so memorable. I booked through the website but the hotel did recommend prior to visiting Cappadocia- it is definitely an expensive purchase but one that I'd do again and only with Turquaz because their safety regulations were very good, pilot Yahya was amazing as was his team. The pick up service was prompt, payment was easy at the office (best to pay balance in cash as cheaper than card). The breakfast was surprisingly brilliant with lovely choices of fruits, croissants and hot drinks. The atmosphere was calm and instructions were clear. We watched the balloon inflate before entering our balloon. The site is full of balloons. Entering the basket is a little tricky but manageable as they provide a small stepping ladder and assistance. The bakery in divided up in sections and we had another couple join the section we were in. Yahya our pilot, had a great sense of humour and gave us the best flight. He even explained the 'morning kiss'- he was thoroughly safe and made good decisions so he was a very experienced pilot. The flight itself is great, calm, smooth and enjoyable. It's like living a dream. Plenty of photo opportunities of the sun rise as the ride was about an hour. The departure was timed well so we met with the Trailer and team to help land safely. Yahya's team at landing were amazing, working hard to help, such a manual job! We watched the balloon begin to deflate before proceding to a nice mini treat with orange juice or champagne, bread, grapes and cherries. There was a lovely celebration where yahya presented us all with a personalised certificate and a medal. Such a fantastic idea. We would recommend this company and book again, hoping to bring my children next time too! Thank you to Yahya and the entire team for making the hot air balloon flight a special experience.
