Cappadocia
The Cappadocia region of Turkey is the perfect location for a hot-air balloon flight. After complimentary pickup from your hotel by comfortable, air-conditioned minivan, take in views of the Turkish countryside as you head to the hot-air balloon office, where you’ll enjoy a complimentary light breakfast of fruit, sandwich, cold and hot drinks. Head to the nearby launch field and watch as your 100-foot tall (30-meter) hot-air balloon is inflated before boarding the balloon basket with your experienced pilot. Then, up you go! As you fly through the Cappadocia valleys, take a close look at the rock formations and listen to your pilot's interesting commentary about Cappadocia's history and geological formations. See churches and houses carved into the rocks as the balloon climbs approximately 1,000 feet (300 meters). You would be presented with Royal Medal after flight. Royal Queen basket size is max. 24 people and Royal King basket size max. 12 people.

Viator was on time for our pickup. The breakfast offered was great. Unfortunately we were not able to fly the hot air balloons as per air flight restrictions. Viator offered stand by 2 days later or refund. We took the refund as we were not in Cappadocia 2 days later.

Pilot Tolga was far more than just our hot‑air‑balloon pilot — he also acted as our day‑tour guide throughout our trip in Cappadocia. He has a fantastic sense of humour and is incredibly thoughtful. He took us to witness many unique, lesser‑known sights across Cappadocia. Thanks to him, our whole tour turned out so lively and memorable. Couldn’t recommend Tolga more!

Amazing hot air balloon experience in Cappadocia
I had a wonderful experience with Royal Balloon. Everything was very well organized and professional from start to finish. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience feel safe and comfortable. A special thanks to our pilot, Tolga! He was very professional, but also incredibly funny and entertaining. His sense of humor made the flight even more enjoyable and memorable. We felt completely relaxed throughout the journey, and he really made the whole experience special. Watching the sunrise over Cappadocia from the hot air balloon was absolutely breathtaking. The views of the valleys, rock formations, and all the balloons floating in the sky were unforgettable. I’m very happy that I chose Royal Balloon. This was definitely one of the highlights of my trip to Cappadocia. If I come back again, I would definitely choose Royal Balloon and fly with Tolga again!
