Incredible Tour with Manos and Lidia

We spent the entire day doing the Athens City Highlights, and then Cape Sounion. Our Driver/Guide Manos, was fantastic. He explained everything to us He is very bright, knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. We asked to stop to shop a bit and he gave us suggestions of where to go. We went to a wonderful place for dinner on the way to Temple of Poseidon. We saw the sunset and then drove back to Athens. We highly recommend Manos and Athens Limo tours . We even asked to have Manos take us to the port to start our cruise and pick us up a week later to take us back to the airport. We enjoyed him so much…and learned so much about Greece, its history, landmarks, etc… We also had Lidia guide us around the Acropolis and Acropolis museum our first day. She knew everything about the history. We enjoyed her tour as well. We were able to see how passionate she is and how much she loves what she does. Thank you Dionisis for helping plan these 2 days. We will highly recommend you to our friends who are planning a trip to Greece. Alyse

George is one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had!

We did several tours with George and by the time our tours ended we were so sad to see him go as he had really become a part of our group. He was professional, safe, always early and wonderfully patient about answering our many questions and giving us a good understanding of what we were going to see and where to meet him back. He really made our trip and the places we visited special. One of the members of our group lost her cell phone at Mycenae and George not only got on his phone and started calling the places we had been but then detoured back there after their closing hours and asked them to wait so she could get it back. Easily something that could have ruined her trip but instead George quickly sorted it out and reassured her 50 times that it was not a big deal and it wasn’t ruining his day (not sure if that was true but definitely what she needed to hear). Would not hesitate to book any tour with George anywhere anytime!

Highly recommended! Great alternative to the group tours.

Wonderful experience! Our driver and tour guide was very friendly and polite and gave us a great tour. The car was cool and comfortable. The views of Temple of Sounion at sunset were amazing. We highly recommend especially in summer when you may want to have a cooler afternoon.

    Best way to spend day

Having a later flight out following disembarking a cruise we booked a tour with Athens Limos at 9am with & airport drop off at 3pm. Very hot day so we were grateful to be able to hop in & out of the vehicle. Had a lovely day driving up the coast out of Athens with Peter. A part of Athens we hadn't seen before & well worth it. Very friendly, patient & helpful guide for the day. A beautiful lunch at a coastal restaurant before airport drop off! Perfect! Thank you

Cape Sounion Half Day Private Shore Excursion: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Athens.

How much does Cape Sounion Half Day Private Shore Excursion cost?

    +

Prices start at $43 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Athens usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Cape Sounion Half Day Private Shore Excursion take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Athens is not rushed.

Is Cape Sounion Half Day Private Shore Excursion worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 68 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 7 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Athens, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cape Sounion Half Day Private Shore Excursion?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Cape Sounion Half Day Private Shore Excursion suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Cape Sounion Half Day Private Shore Excursion?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Athens can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Athens and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cape Sounion Half Day Private Shore Excursion start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Athens within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Athens?

    +

On Outty we rank every Athens experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Athens Small Group E-Bike Tour, Small Group Greek Traditional Food Tour in Athens 20+ Tastings, Athens Scenic Bike Tour with Regular or Electric Bike + Acropolis. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Athens?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Athens?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
