Souinio Sunset
This tour is amazingly beautiful, very scenic with gorgeous landscapes. The Temple of Poseidon with sun setting in background is a MUST experience if you're in Athens. Our tour guide Dimitrios was excellent with so much knowledge about the area. He made the experience fun. I would definitely recommend!!!

This Cape Sounio tour was one of the most relaxing parts of our trip. The drive along the Athenian Riviera was beautiful, with amazing sea views almost the entire way. When we reached the Temple of Poseidon, the setting was even better than expected — standing there overlooking the Aegean Sea is something you don’t forget easily. Maria shared some interesting history and mythology but also gave us time to explore on our own. Everything was easy and well timed, and it never felt rushed. If you’re looking for a scenic half-day tour from Athens, this one is definitely wortih it.

Cape Sounio & Temple of Poseidon fantastic tour
We booked the Sounio tour mainly for the views, and it completely exceeded expectations. The coastal route from Athens was beautiful from start to finish, and once we arrived at the Temple of Poseidon the scenery was simply stunning. There’s something very peaceful about being there, with the sea all around and the temple standing on the cliff. Our guide kept the experience relaxed and gave us just the right amount of historical background without turning it into a lecture. It felt more like a memorable escape from the city than a typical sightseeing tour, and we genuinely loved every minute of it.

A day in Sounio.
The Cape Sounio tour turned out to be one of the most relaxing and beautiful experiences we had during our stay in Athens. The drive along the Athenian Riviera offered amazing coastal views, and arriving at the Temple of Poseidon was simply breathtaking. Seeing the ancient temple standing above the Aegean Sea is something photos really can’t capture. Our guide shared interesting stories about Greek mythology and the history of the site while giving us enough time to explore and take pictures. If you’re looking for a scenic half-day trip from Athens with history and incredible views, this tour is definitely worth it.Strongly recommended.
