We run the Peninsula in a 13-seater minibus with a registered local guide who lives in Cape Town, not a 60-seat coach. Small groups mean we reach Hout Bay and Boulders ahead of the crowds, and there is time to walk and look rather than just photograph from the roadside. Hout Bay
A working fishing harbour under the Sentinel peak, and our first stop of the morning before the coaches arrive. Watch the seals around the boats, browse the craft market, or add an optional boat trip out to the Duiker Island seal colony at your own cost.

One of the finest coastal roads in the country - 114 bends blasted into the cliff face between Hout Bay and Noordhoek. We stop at the viewpoints for photographs. The toll is covered in your fare.
