Fabulous E-bike tours
We had two fabulous days with Arbie from Bike and Hike, an E-bike tour of the Cape and a Constantia E-bike wine tour. They were flexible on timings and kindly allowed us to move one Tour to another day when the weather forecast was poor. Arbie was so enthusiastic and a really great guide. They responded promptly to all our emails. It worked brilliantly being able to cycle at your own pace and stop to take photos whenever you wanted but always have the vehicle as back up in case anything went wrong. We would thoroughly recommend them.
Response from the operator: Thank you for the wonderful reviews and for joining us on our Cape Peninsula and Constantia tours, both truly memorable tours with us. Our built-in flexibility with a luxury support vehicle allows for the day to flow as you wish capturing the best of each location. Happy travels and hope to see you on one of our tours in the future!

Highlight tour of our visit to Cape Town
My husband and I had a delightful, memorable day experiencing the stunning coastal scenery between Cape Town and the Cape of Good Hope with Abi. Abi could not have been a better host of this experience. His van was clean, operated smoothly and he thoughtfully brought cold drinks and snacks. We drove along, stopping for photos (and shopping) as we desired, and keeping up an almost non-stop conversation about what we were seeing, how life operates and evolved in South Africa, comparing life experiences. The e-bike portion of the ride was exhilarating. Due to wind and our own energy reserves, we chose to ride for only about an hour but that was perfect for us. The bikes were well maintained and operated well. We saw quite a bit of wildlife during our travels, including baboons, ostriches, hyrex and, of course, the famous penguins of Boulder Beach. It was a long day, almost 10 hours and we were exhausted and happy at the end. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to spend a memorable day in this beautiful part of the world
Response from the operator: Thank you Christa and Mike for choosing our luxury Ebike Peninsula tour. We are delighted the day was the a highlight as this is our goal with each of our unique experiences. We appreciate the recommendation to others looking for a truly memorable escape with our professional and passionate guides and top-class vehicles and bikes to make for the best experience in Cape Town. Safe onward travels!

Great Tour!
GREAT TIME! my husband and I went with our two adult sons, e-biked around the Cape - SO MUCH MORE FUN THAN JUST DRIVING! it was a windy day, so we ended up doing a shorter bike trip, they were so flexible and accommodating to what we wanted to do, and it was just wonderful. with the e-bikes anyone can do it, just adjust your "help" level to what you need or no help at all, and it is a wonderful way to explore the beautiful cape peninsula. we saw monkeys, ostriches and had such a great time, such a fun way to get out and see it all up close. strongly recommend!!! also as a general note, we had postponed our trip to So Africa several times due to COVID but once vaccinated we decided to go, and SO GLAD we did. we felt very safe, their covid protocols and standards were excellent, all the guides, hotel staff, restaurant staff etc. were so kind and careful, I hope everyone starts touring there again, they miss the tourism.
Response from the operator: Hi Lori We are thrilled you and the family enjoyed the outdoors and nature on e-bikes. I must say, the super up close sightings of the wildlife was a real treat. We take delight from families being together, having fun and glad you could play a part in your vacation to South Africa. All the best, Bike & Hike

Why this scores 61
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Cape Peninsula E-bike Cycle with Vehicle - Private Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cape Town.
How much does Cape Peninsula E-bike Cycle with Vehicle - Private Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $3200 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cape Town usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cape Peninsula E-bike Cycle with Vehicle - Private Tour take?
+
Plan for about 8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cape Town is not rushed.
Is Cape Peninsula E-bike Cycle with Vehicle - Private Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 61 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cape Town, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cape Peninsula E-bike Cycle with Vehicle - Private Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cape Peninsula E-bike Cycle with Vehicle - Private Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 12. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 8-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Cape Peninsula E-bike Cycle with Vehicle - Private Tour?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cape Town can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cape Town and add a light layer if any part of the 8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cape Peninsula E-bike Cycle with Vehicle - Private Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cape Town within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Cape Town?
+
On Outty we rank every Cape Town experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cape Town: Lion's Head Sunrise/Sunset Hike, Cape Point and Boulder's Penguins Full Day Tour, Shark Explorers. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Cape Town?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Cape Town?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
