Highly recommend Santacruise Tours

Tingo is excellent. We arranged ahead of time and Tingo was ready for us. We did airport run, coastal tour, winelands tour, and everything in between. Tingo showed us everything we asked for and extra along the way. Tingo was also flexible when we had a change of plans. He let us know the parameters. I can’t recommend him enough. Comfortable vehicle. Friendly and helpful. Tingo is the absolute best.

The BEST tour decision we made in Cape Town

Tingo our guide, was an outstanding! We had cold, rainy winter weather during our visit, but from the moment he picked us up at our hotel, he assured us he would do everything possible to make our day memorable, and he absolutely delivered. He was incredibly knowledgeable about Cape Town, learned each of our names, and it was clear he is well respected throughout the community. When the weather affected our plans and we missed seeing ostriches, he even took us to an ostrich farm so we wouldn’t miss out. He thought of the little things too, like having umbrellas ready when we needed them. His flexibility, professionalism, and genuine passion for what he does turned what could have been a disappointing day into one of the highlights of our trip. Even the most skeptical people in our group walked away genuinely impressed and extremely happy. If you’re considering booking with Tingo, don’t hesitate. You won’t be disappointed.

Amazing trip with Tingo and Anga

We were recommended Tingo for our airport transfers and day trips. His communication beforehand was very good and Andreas was great doing the transfers, very helpful. We booked a day trip to see Boulders Beach, camps Bay and the cape of Good Hope, Tingo was so understanding and accommodating when we changed the day because my little granddaughter wasn’t well. Tingo and Anga took us on a brilliant road trip around the coast, stopping at many beauty spots, with very knowledgeable commentary, he has a great sense of humour and made it so much fun. We are all so very glad we made the trip and learned so much. Anga you took some great photos too! We really enjoyed your company and would thoroughly recommend you. Thank you both.

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for this beautiful review—it truly means a lot to us! We’re so glad you had an amazing experience with both the transfers and the coastal day trip. It was our absolute pleasure to accommodate the change of plans, especially for your granddaughter—we always want our guests to feel comfortable and cared for. Hearing that you enjoyed the journey along the coast, the stops at the beautiful viewpoints, and the stories along the way really makes us happy. That’s exactly the experience we aim to create—fun, relaxed, and memorable. Anga will be especially happy to hear you loved the photos—he takes great pride in capturing those special moments! It was truly a joy spending time with you all, and we’re grateful you chose to travel with us. We hope to welcome you back again for another adventure in South Africa!

50th Birthday Tour

My family and I did a coastal and Cape of Good Hope Tour with Tingo. Everything was excellent; from the educational guided tour by Tingo, to the beautiful coastline and the amazing food. Our good took beautiful pictures and by the end of the trip we were family. Thank you Tingo!

Response from the operator: Thank you for the good times that we had with your family yesterday. And the conversation that we had was awesome. Thanks for choosing us.

Cape of Good Hope Cape Point for groups: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cape Town.

How much does Cape of Good Hope Cape Point for groups cost?

+

Prices start at $800 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cape Town usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Cape of Good Hope Cape Point for groups take?

+

Plan for about 4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cape Town is not rushed.

Is Cape of Good Hope Cape Point for groups worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 70 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cape Town, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cape of Good Hope Cape Point for groups?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Cape of Good Hope Cape Point for groups suitable for kids and families?

+

The operator sets a minimum age of 4. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 4-hour running time when deciding.

How far in advance should I book Cape of Good Hope Cape Point for groups?

+

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cape Town can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cape Town and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cape of Good Hope Cape Point for groups start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cape Town within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cape Town?

+

On Outty we rank every Cape Town experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Penguins Day Tour from Cape Town, Table Mountain, Boulders Penguins and Cape point Day Tour, Wine Tour: Paarl, Franschhoek & Stellenbosch incl 3 wineries. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cape Town?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cape Town?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
