The Quickest Way Down the Canyon Wall

I basically tossed a coin and booked this excursion over a day of rafting and I 100% made the right choice. When we visited in early August the water level on the Colorado was very, very low and so anyone we spoke to who did the rafting trip thought it was just okay. The Canyoneering Morning Glory Arch experience was anything but just okay. Our guides (Ben and Canyon) were outstanding. They were knowledgeable, very patient, and clearly want you to enjoy the experience as much as they do. You will never feel rushed and you will end up with pictures & videos that are incredible. Finally, if you are worried about your ability to do it...Don't. Just go for it. Highly recommended.

    Glorious Morning Arch Canyoneering

I was very nervous for the adventure. But, Canyon and Ben.’s instructions and safety introduction put me at ease. By the time they finished, I was ready to go! They were funny, safety conscientious, and just all out good guys. I felt safe and comfortable the whole time. It was a wonderful experience. I also appreciated their knowledge of the area and it’s history.

Response from the operator: Hello! Rappelling can be an intimidating experience! We're thrilled that Canyon and Ben helped you feel safe, confident, and ready to tackle the adventure. They really are top-notch guys, and they'll be so glad to hear your kind words! Thanks for stepping out of your comfort zone with us, and congrats on an awesome trip! We thank you for your kind review and hope to see you again! Hannah Budge Moab Adventure Center 435-259-7019

It was the highlight of our trip!!

We took 4 kids (ages 10-13) and 4 adults on the amazing Morning Glory Arch Canyoneering Adventure. It was incredible! The kids (and some adults) were nervous about the repelling, but everyone LOVED it!! It was definitely the highlight of our 5-day trip to Moab!

Response from the operator: Andrew, I love reading reviews like yours! I hope your group still talks about the memories made from this trip. I think our canyoneering tours in particular leave our guests feeling empowered and ready to take on new challenges. What an impactful and memorable experience to do with your kids! Thanks for choosing to adventure with us! All the best, Lecy Gillespie Moab Adventure Center

    Morning Glory

A great time for anyone willing to try something new. Never been rappelling and Morning Glory was a great experience. Ben and Matthew were also great guides and help along the way to make you feel comfortable. Mustache Matthew was great with the photography shots and making sure you don’t rappel down quicker than you should. Ben’s a fun vibe and has plenty of interesting facts along the way as well as some well timed dad jokes. Hopefully you get them on your tour, we had a group of 7 and it was a great time broken water bottle and all. @jae3iii

Response from the operator: Joe, Thanks for the upbeat review! It sounds like you all had an excellent time on this memorable adventure. I'll be sure to pass on your kind words to Mustache Matthew and vibey Ben. They'll love hearing what you have to share. All the best, Lecy Gillespie Moab Adventure Center

Canyoneering Morning Glory Arch: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Moab.

How much does Canyoneering Morning Glory Arch cost?

    +

Prices start at $235 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Moab usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Canyoneering Morning Glory Arch take?

    +

Plan for about 5 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Moab is not rushed.

Is Canyoneering Morning Glory Arch worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 12 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Moab, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Canyoneering Morning Glory Arch?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Canyoneering Morning Glory Arch suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 5-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Canyoneering Morning Glory Arch?

    +

Around 4 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Moab can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Moab and add a light layer if any part of the 5-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Canyoneering Morning Glory Arch start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Moab within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Moab?

    +

Moab is the gateway to Arches and Canyonlands: sunrise arch tours, 4x4 runs on Hell's Revenge, Colorado River rafting, canyoneering and dark-sky stargazing. Park entry timing systems change often, so we weight tours that handle reservations for you. On Outty we rank every Moab experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include HIGHLY RATED U-DRIVE Moab Hell’s Revenge UTV Off-Road Adventure, BEST! Hell's Revenge U-Drive 4X4 Tour in Moab +Dinosaur Tracks!, 5-STAR Moab Hell's Revenge UTV U-DRIVE TOUR + DINO TRACKS. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Moab?

    +

April to May and September to October, avoiding peak summer heat. Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Moab?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
