MTS left us at the airport. Yes, left us! When we contacted them, they told us “if the van isn’t still there then they have already left.” This was ONE HOUR after our plan landed. We had just made it through customs and outside. The airport people were already helping us for a while before. So, this means within 45 minutes they left us.

Mixed Experience with MTS Airport Transfers
We booked shuttle transfers from the airport to our hotel and back to the airport. Upon arrival at Cancun Airport, the MTS representatives directed us to a van without any company logo or branding. The driver spent approximately 40 minutes driving around the different airport terminals to fill the van with passengers. During the subsequent 1.5-hour journey, he spoke loudly in Spanish with another passenger sitting next to him the entire time. His driving was also reckless and inconsiderate, making the journey extremely unpleasant, especially after a 10-hour flight. Fortunately, the return transfer from the hotel to the airport was a completely different experience. Our driver was polite, professional, and drove responsibly. Based on these two experiences, it seems that the company has drivers who provide a much better standard of service. I hope MTS improves its coordination and ensures that passengers are assigned professional, considerate drivers, particularly after long international flights.
