Do not let the fake reviews fool you !!!

★☆☆☆ ☆ (0/5) Unfortunately, our stay at the Flamingo Cancun Resort was very disappointing. While there were a few positives, the negatives outweighed them, and we would not return. The biggest issue was the food. It was by far the worst part of our stay. The buffet and all three restaurants were disappointing, with very little variety and almost no good options for vegetarians or vegans. Most meals lacked flavor or tasted unpleasant. Even the fountain sodas like Coke and Sprite were watered down and poorly mixed. The rooms looked very outdated. Although they appeared mostly clean at first, there was mold in several areas, and the room had a strong musty smell. The water from the sink, shower, and toilet also had an unpleasant odor. The furniture was worn, with the wood on the bed frame peeling and damaged. The TV was also frustrating because it was only in Spanish, and we were unable to change the language or access English programming. The property itself was mostly clean, but there were several things that raised serious concerns. We found what appeared to be a used sanitary pad under a bridge by the pool, which should have been removed immediately. We also saw a guest bleed onto a white pool chair cushion. Instead of replacing the cushion or cleaning it while we were there, staff simply flipped the cushion over. In addition, many of the bath towels and pool towels already had stains when they were given to us. During checkout, we were questioned about a red stain on a towel, even though it was simply hair dye, while many of the towels we received were already stained. The Wi-Fi was unreliable. It constantly disconnected, required us to log in repeatedly, and was too slow to use many apps. The entertainment was another major disappointment. The daily schedule advertised activities like a mariachi band and other entertainment, but during our stay, almost none of it happened. The beach was also inconsistent. Some days it was beautiful, but on other days there was a large amount of seaweed with a very strong odor that made it unpleasant to spend time there. The staff during most of our stay were friendly, and check-in was smooth. We also enjoyed the pools, which were clean and well maintained, although they were much warmer than expected and the hot tub wasn’t actually very hot. Overall, this resort did not meet our expectations. Between the poor food, outdated rooms, cleanliness concerns, unreliable Wi-Fi, lack of advertised entertainment, and other issues, we left very disappointed. We would not stay here again and would not recommend this resort to others.

Cancun Airport and Flamingo Cancun Resort Private Shuttle: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cancun.

How much does Cancun Airport and Flamingo Cancun Resort Private Shuttle cost?

+

Prices start at $75 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cancun usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Cancun Airport and Flamingo Cancun Resort Private Shuttle take?

+

Plan for about 0.4 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cancun is not rushed.

Is Cancun Airport and Flamingo Cancun Resort Private Shuttle worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 36 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (1/5 across 1 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cancun, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cancun Airport and Flamingo Cancun Resort Private Shuttle?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Cancun Airport and Flamingo Cancun Resort Private Shuttle suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 0.4-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Cancun Airport and Flamingo Cancun Resort Private Shuttle?

+

Around 0 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cancun can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cancun and add a light layer if any part of the 0.4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cancun Airport and Flamingo Cancun Resort Private Shuttle start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cancun within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cancun?

+

On Outty we rank every Cancun experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Early Access to Chichen Itza All Inclusive with Valladolid and Cenote Swim, Whale Shark Tour from Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and Riviera Maya, Small-Group 3 Hidden Cenotes Adventure with Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cancun?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cancun?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
