Great way to spend the day in Cairo
We had a full day layover in Cairo and decided to see the pyramids. We ended up booking via emo tours and had a great time. Our guide Sayed Mahmoud was very knowledgeable and flexible. He kept reminding us that we will do what we want to do, instead of a fixed tour. He had great knowledge about the anciemt Egypt and showed us the Bazar when requested. Also, we had not booked with lunch by accident but he made time for it. Traffic in Cairo is quite chatoic and our driver made sure we have time for the activities and displayed a very professional attidute. I recommend highly booking with them.

Adel hakem
Booked our tour through EMO tours several weeks in advance. Prior to arriving, received an email stating tour guide would meet my wife and I in our hotel lobby. The day of the tour there was some confusion as we didn’t see tour guide in the lobby so we had hotel call EMO. After 10 minutes tour guide arrived and we were off to our tour. Overall, the tour was great, we saw the touristy sites that we paid for like the pyramids and Sphinx. Adel hakem (tour guide) got us access to see the Egyptian boat next to the pyramid for “free.” After the pyramids our tour guide added a couple places that were not on the original tour: Papyrus (Egyptian painting) and oriental perfume (scented oil). My wife and I bought something at both places so we are glad he made us stop at these places. The last stop was the Egyptian museum, and then Adel got us authentic koshari to taste. We original appreciate Adel enthusiasm and Egyptian historical knowledge!
Response from the operator: Dear guest , Thanks for leaving us such a wonderful review. We are thrilled that you loved your experience; our staff will definitely be happy to read what you wrote. We put customer experience and satisfaction as our priority, and your review reaffirms the hard work we put in every day. So thanks for your kind words and we look forward to seeing you again. Cairo Stopover Tour to Giza Pyramids Egyptian Museum Citadel & Bazaar: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Giza.
How much does Cairo Stopover Tour to Giza Pyramids Egyptian Museum Citadel & Bazaar cost?
+
Prices start at $5 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Giza usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cairo Stopover Tour to Giza Pyramids Egyptian Museum Citadel & Bazaar take?
+
Plan for about 10 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Giza is not rushed.
Is Cairo Stopover Tour to Giza Pyramids Egyptian Museum Citadel & Bazaar worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 69 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 4 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Giza, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cairo Stopover Tour to Giza Pyramids Egyptian Museum Citadel & Bazaar?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cairo Stopover Tour to Giza Pyramids Egyptian Museum Citadel & Bazaar suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 10-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Cairo Stopover Tour to Giza Pyramids Egyptian Museum Citadel & Bazaar?
+
Around 1 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Giza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Giza and add a light layer if any part of the 10-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cairo Stopover Tour to Giza Pyramids Egyptian Museum Citadel & Bazaar start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Giza within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Giza?
+
On Outty we rank every Giza experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pyramids Sphinx Camel ATV Bike Shopping and Nile Dinner Cruise, Cairo 8 Hour Private Tour of Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum, Pyramids Sphinx and Grand Egyptian Museum Nile Felucca or Bazaar. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Giza?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Giza?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
