Then, the tour will continue by vising the Valley Temple of Khafre, where is located the reception of the royal body of Khafre. The Valley Temple was built for the process of mummification of King Khafre. Finally, you will have a close-up look of the Great Sphinx, the guardian of the Pyramids with a body of a lion and the head of King Khafre. Nice and polite guide.
Our tour guide was Ola. She was pleasant and knowledgeable. They picked us up and dropped us back. At the site, they take you around the shuttle buses. Some tour operators go inside and take you from each point. I would've preferred this option but wasn't made aware of this at time of booking. She took us around all the sites and gave us information. It felt a little scripted but it was enough for us to understand and she was very passionate about the history and heritage. We hurried through sphinx but the kids were tired so we didn't push to go and see it. She would've taken us if we asked. Overall was good. I'm in another part of Egypt there the guides are really enthusiastic and really go out to their way which is why I left only 3 stars. She didn't everything she was meant to and was very polite. They offer other stops on the way but we weren't interested as we were tired. Highly recommend a guided tour for pyramids.

We had an absolutely...
We had an absolutely fantastic day with Hussam, who took us to visit the Pyramids in the morning and the **Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM)** in the afternoon. Hussam was incredibly knowledgeable, and his storytelling was exceptional. He didn’t just tell us about the history; he brought it to life and made us feel as though we were travelling back in time. His depth of knowledge was unbelievable, and his passion for Egyptian history really shone through. He also knew exactly where to take us for the most amazing photographs, capturing some truly special memories. He was brilliant at using my husband’s mobile phone, making the most of its features to get the perfect shots. We now have some beautiful photos to remember our experience! Hussam was also very thoughtful and made sure we stayed well hydrated throughout the day, which we really appreciated. He even recommended an amazing restaurant for the evening, where we enjoyed a lovely meal while watching the sunset with a full view of the Pyramids. It was the perfect way to end such a memorable day. My husband and I cannot recommend Hussam highly enough. His knowledge, storytelling, thoughtfulness and attention to detail made our experience truly special. If you’re visiting Cairo and the Pyramids, **do ask for Hussam — you won’t be disappointed!**

Anan was a wonderful guide. She is very knowledgeable and took great care of my friend and I. She took our photos and made sure we were ok at all stages. Our driver and lunch was amazing! Definitely recommend Anan as a tour guide!!

Not a tour guide, just a taxi servicd
We booked a private tour of the Pyramids & Sphinx, our tour guide was Ayaam. The driver was great; absolutely no complaints whatsoever. However, the ‘guided tour’ felt that it was more of a taxi service than anything else. Ayaam was originally nice on messages and when meeting her. We booked a tour guide with no camel rides or lunch, as we were not interested. We were more keen on getting stuck in gaining knowledge about the Pyramids & Sphinx. We quickly understood that Ayaam was not going to be giving us much; as her disinterested and passive aggressive attitude was striking. When we were drip-fed information throughout the ‘guided’ tour; the information (I.e. Cairo being the oldest capital city in the world) was wrong. We were judged for not asking many questions, Ayaam didn’t seem to understand that we were there to learn and listen to her explanations. Instead, we were told it was ‘weird’, and we were ushered around on the hop-on-hop-off bus and then left to our own devices when we were at the different sites. I had to pull up ChatGPT to give us some historical background, as Ayaam hardly went into any details apart from the measurements of each of the pyramids and the type of stones. It would have been nice to get some information about the different dynasties, the mummification process etc..(for instance). When we finished the whole tour at the Sphinx, Ayaam asked if we wanted to go back to the pyramids, she seemed surprised that the tour didn’t take long; not surprising when we were just walking around by ourselves. Quite disappointing to be honest, and not cheap for a ‘taxi service’.
