Spiritual Shivers and awe in Cairo’s most ancient Mosque’s.

Last day in Cairo and senses were over loaded with the wonders of the Pyramids, the history and magnitude of the GEM museums and all the treasures it holds and finally the hustle and sensations of Old Cairo: all of it so very alive and colourful. We needed to do one more thing in our last few hours and that was religious Cairo and its famous mosques. No better guide than Hosny to weave us through the alabaster corridors and open his arms and share his knowledge of the oldest mosque, the twin mosques and leave us with a cou de cœur and panoramic view of the city around them. The warmth and friendliness of everyone we met in the mosques restores the faith that religion is about love and respect for something far bigger than us. Being privileged to stand quietly and witness devotion in action and hear the soul singing left us with spiritual shivers and goose bumps. The history speaks for itself. Hosny brought it all to life with his vast knowledge, joy and pride of all the civilisations that make Cairo so unique. We were hungry for more and wanted to taste a freshly baked falafel sandwhich which he found for us and its deliciousness was a perfect full stop to the majesty our eyes had seen. Heart, soul, mind all full - the belly smiled too. Thank you Hosny, for a second, impulsive and perfect end to a few unforgettable days in Cairo!

Response from the operator: Dear Atalanta, thank you for such an eloquent, generous, and deeply moving review. We are truly honored that the final hours of your time in Egypt were spent with us on our Cairo Private Day Trip with an Expert Guide, exploring the Pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), Old Cairo, and the spiritual heart of religious Cairo through its most ancient mosques. Your words beautifully capture what makes Cairo so extraordinary — a living city where ancient civilizations, faith, history, and everyday life exist side by side. Walking through alabaster corridors, visiting the oldest and twin mosques, taking in panoramic views over the city, and standing quietly while devotion unfolds are moments that often leave a lasting spiritual imprint, and we are delighted this experience brought you such awe and reflection. It was a privilege for Hosny to share not only historical knowledge, but also the deeper cultural and spiritual layers of Cairo’s Islamic heritage. From the grandeur of Egypt’s past to the warmth and hospitality found in Old Cairo — and even a simple yet unforgettable pause for a freshly baked falafel — these authentic details are what transform a private guided tour in Cairo into a truly personal and meaningful journey. Thank you for choosing Egypt Paradise Tours and for trusting us with such a spontaneous and perfect conclusion to your visit. We hope Cairo continues to resonate in your heart long after you’ve returned home, and we would be honored to welcome you back for another unforgettable private tour in Egypt. Warmest regards, Hosny Egypt Paradise Tours Private Cairo Tours & Cultural Experiences
