Nile Cruise: a journey through ancient history and magic of yesteryear.
Before setting sail, the must-see is Abu Simbel, with the majestic Temple of Ramses II, a masterpiece unique in the world for its grandeur and the extraordinary Enterprise of its transfer from the original site. From the south of Egypt, upstream of the great Aswan Dam, the three-day navigation to Luxor begins. It is a slow process along the Nile: ancient feluches let themselves be carried away by the wind, while small boats approach cruise ships. Amid shouts, laughter and horse-trading, vendors offer sarongs and towels tossing them up to the deck, turning the scene into a small floating theater. Along the banks, life flows simple and authentic: children playing in the water, farmers working the land, villages that seem to stand still in time, and muezzins calling for prayer. Each stop is a plunge into history: temples, columns and ancient inscriptions tell of a past still alive. The passage through the Esna lock is a fascinating moment: the Nile level drops a few meters, and you arrive at sunset in Luxor. The cruise concludes in front of the majesty of the Karnak Temple, and in that moment you understand why the Nile continues, for millennia, to enchant anyone who crosses it. I would like to thank Lyli of Tour Egypt Club for the perfect organization of the trip to Egypt and our guide Hassan for his extraordinary availability and professionalism. Thanks to his commitment, we were able to visit the sites in the best possible way. His explanations, in impeccable Italian, were always engaging and exhaustive.

3 days cruise inside the boat
We took the cruise on the boat "Concert" and it was a unique experience to sail on the Nile and see glimpses of everyday Egyptian life. The only flaw was the end of the cruise regarding the "tax" of the tip that we were forced to give insistently to the "superior" despite having personally given it to the waiters and porters who really made the holiday unique and carefree. As for our guide Hassan, he is a guide with whom you can joke and at the same time learn a lot thanks to his great cultural background and a great knowledge of the Italian language. With him we spent our visits laughing and learning. He was able to advise and guide us throughout our stay never leaving us alone especially in the most uncomfortable situations. He remained in our hearts for his humanity and for the relationship that has been created. Excellent Hassan.

Unique experience
Zahra from Tour Egypt Club has prepared us for a wonderful à la carte stay from Cairo to Abu Simbel and Aswan to Cairo! Everything was really perfect! The trips, the accompanying of guides and people during transfers, the schedules of visits and trips by plane, in taxi just for us 3! All the details thought out in advance by Zahra to make everything run smoothly for my 14-year-old son, my 75-year-old father and me! We only had to enjoy! All our requests have been well taken into account, even a super top hotel in Aswan. The cruise in Dahabyia is a memorable memory! A calm, really great organization! A crew on the boat super nice and discreet, and in addition: musicians! Zahra was able to answer all our questions very quickly before the trip and also fart. Congratulations to her for all her ideas and responsiveness! In addition we were very kindly welcomed at the agency when arriving in Cairo for the administrative formalities!

Wonderful
This is less a review of the tour but more of the company. Yoma, the representative who helped me plan, created a tour that incorporated everything we wanted to do in Cairo and of course the wonderful river cruise. Cairo is crowded chaos, but our guides led us smoothly and easily to the truly magical, iconic locations the city and country has to offer. Yoma was also there ahead of time, taking away the stress as we planned together, including a day of bird watching, and was there at the end, when she had a representative guide us through the Cairo airport, which is, at best, challenging. My highest recommendation to use the Tour Egypt Club for your Egyptian trip. Take the stress away!

Great 10 day experience of a lifetime
This review is long overdue. It has been a couple a months now since my daughter and I have been back from Egypt and all we can think about is the wonderful experience we had. Let me start by saying Nasser and his team are wonderful. I communicated with Nasser for months before actually coming to Egypt and I expressed that this trip was going to be a surprise for my daughter, who was learning about Egypt in school . He made sure to go the extra mile for both of us. Upon arriving to Egypt we had a minor hiccup with our visas but Nasser made sure to rectify that immediately. We were met at the airport by Mahmoud and our driver who were both very friendly, especially for it to be 1 in the morning. They both escorted us to our hotel where we were met by Nasser who made sure that we got to our room safely. Unfortunately our room was not the best, however Nasser managed to get our room changed the very next day. For the next 9-10 We had an amazing time exploring Giza, Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, Nubia, and Alexandria. Our knowledgeable awesome tour guides Honey and both Mahmoud’s made sure that we got to experience the best of each place we visited and filled us with so much information of the Egyptian history. Any thing that didn’t go as planned Nasser had already worked out a back up plan for us. For example, our train from Cairo to Luxor was cancelled, so he got us a flight there instead and an extra day in our hotel. Likewise we were saddened that our hot air balloon ride was cancelled but Nasser arranged a tour of the Nubian village. We had a great time on our 4 day cruise along the Nile. I can go on and on because there’s so many good things I can say. My only constructive criticism would be for tour guides to be a little more mindful when they’re smoking next to children. Other than that I have nothing but positive things to say.

Cairo, Nile Cruise, Luxor and Aswan Tour: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Giza.
How much does Cairo, Nile Cruise, Luxor and Aswan Tour cost?
+
Prices start at $880 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Giza usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cairo, Nile Cruise, Luxor and Aswan Tour take?
+
Plan for about 192 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Giza is not rushed.
Is Cairo, Nile Cruise, Luxor and Aswan Tour worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 66 out of 100, which we label "Solid Choice". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Giza, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cairo, Nile Cruise, Luxor and Aswan Tour?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Cairo, Nile Cruise, Luxor and Aswan Tour suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 3. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 192-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Cairo, Nile Cruise, Luxor and Aswan Tour?
+
Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Giza can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Giza and add a light layer if any part of the 192-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cairo, Nile Cruise, Luxor and Aswan Tour start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Giza within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Giza?
+
On Outty we rank every Giza experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Pyramids Sphinx Camel ATV Bike Shopping and Nile Dinner Cruise, Cairo 8 Hour Private Tour of Pyramids & Grand Egyptian Museum, Pyramids Sphinx and Grand Egyptian Museum Nile Felucca or Bazaar. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Giza?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Giza?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
