Excellent Cairo Day Trip with Kids
We booked the Cairo day trip as a couple with two kids, with a private driver and private guide, and had a great experience. Everything was very well organized and the timing was excellent, with no unnecessary waiting or wasted time. Our guide was informative and friendly, and the whole experience felt very personal and flexible, adapting the day to our interests and the kids’ pace. Having a private driver made getting around Cairo very easy and efficient. We managed to see a lot without feeling rushed. Highly recommended for families wanting to experience Cairo in one day!

Sharm Smile Tours
From start to finish the tours we did with Sharm Smile Tour were excellent. All information was received in good time and the tours were exactly as advertised. We did two tours with the company. Full day trip to Petra and a private tour to St Catherines Monastery. The Petra trip was part of a larger group. However, we had a smaller group with a guide who was excellent. The guides on the bus were very professional and we never felt left out of anything. The private trip, although a little more expensive was worth every pound. The vehicle, driver and guide were fantastic. It made our trip. İn particular our guide was both professional and very knowledgeable. He provided a thorough package of information throught the trip. Many thanks to all and we will definitely use the company again. Regards Kev and Deb

Would 100% recommend to a friend!
Great experience all round, we were treated like royalty & didn’t have to worry about a thing. Nabil was prompt and courteous with his responses, even when I had a late night query the day before our trip!

Exceptional day trip
My Dad and I went with Sharm Smile for this day trip on the 7th Jan 2026 and it was utterly superb. Every single element of the day was superb and seamless. The communication via WhatsApp was proactive and very clear, all the journeys were very easy and it was just the best way to spend the day. Huge shout out to Sayeed our driver was fantastic, lovely and a great, safe way to navigate the day. Our guide Ahmed was just superb. Detailed, warm, funny, enthusiastic and did a great job of helping us navigate through the busy pyramids and museums was flawless. I couldn’t recommend this tour, company and guide/driver more highly. 10/10 - thank you Sharm Smile 😊

Cairo Day Tour By Plane From Sharm El Sheikh: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Sharm el Sheikh.
How much does Cairo Day Tour By Plane From Sharm El Sheikh cost?
+
Prices start at $50 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Sharm el Sheikh usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Cairo Day Tour By Plane From Sharm El Sheikh take?
+
Plan for about 18 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Sharm el Sheikh is not rushed.
Is Cairo Day Tour By Plane From Sharm El Sheikh worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 74 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (5/5 across 104 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable culture & history in Sharm el Sheikh, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Cairo Day Tour By Plane From Sharm El Sheikh?
+
No. This experience is sold on a non-refundable basis, so only book a date you are confident about. Similar experiences in the city do offer free cancellation if flexibility matters more than price.
Is Cairo Day Tour By Plane From Sharm El Sheikh suitable for kids and families?
+
Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 18-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.
How far in advance should I book Cairo Day Tour By Plane From Sharm El Sheikh?
+
Around 36 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Sharm el Sheikh can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Sharm el Sheikh and add a light layer if any part of the 18-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Cairo Day Tour By Plane From Sharm El Sheikh start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Sharm el Sheikh within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Sharm el Sheikh?
+
On Outty we rank every Sharm el Sheikh experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Sharm El Sheikh: Ras Mohammed Snorkeling, Allah Gate & Top Sights, ATV Quad Bike & Camel Ride, Echo Mountain – Sharm El Sheikh, Sharm : Cairo Excursion by Flight, Pyramid GEM or Ancient Museum. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Sharm el Sheikh?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Sharm el Sheikh?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
