    Terrible experience

Skip the glass bottom tours- Terrible! The boat was had was unsafe to exit and enter on the beach- no ladder. The boat pickup was about a half hour late in the island. The “guide” took our pictures and everyone else on boat then later was nowhere to be seen to let us buy them. The beach itself was crowded with aggressive vendors and too many tourists. Also, our hotel pickup was 15 min late which necessitated us to call an uber, at least the driver refunded the 100 persons for the uber ride. The whole experience was pretty terrible - lots of unnecessary stress.

Boat ride to the Arch only

My wife and I took the 11am ride to El Arco and Lovers Beach through Gregory tours. The ride to the Arch was a quick one on an older boat in rougher seas. The driver spoke only Spanish so one of the passengers translated much of what he was saying for those of us that weren’t fluent. He pointed out a seal and threw some food in the water to bring fish alongside the boat. That was the only “tour provided” other than the view itself. After viewing the Arch we were told that Lovers Beach was closed and he took us to the crowded beach on the bay next to the Marina for an hour. The ride was not really what we expected but my wife and I were content with the view of the Arch that we had hoped for. The description of the activity should say “might go to lovers beach” because we did not and also the length of the trip was only 1 1/2 hours total. I would recommend checking other companies if you are looking for a more complete experience.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re sorry the experience did not fully meet expectations, especially regarding the rough sea conditions, language barrier, timing, and Lover’s Beach closure. Access to Lover’s Beach can depend on local sea and safety conditions, but we understand this should be communicated more clearly before and during the tour. We’re glad you were still able to enjoy the view of the Arch, and your comments will be shared with the local operator to improve communication and guest expectations. — Boat Trips Club Team

    Tour only lasted 30 mins

Good tour but only lasted 30 minutes. Met at 12 and got back at 12:37pm. Did not get to swim at the beach, not sure if it’s because of the waves or not.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear you found the tour good, but we sincerely apologize that it lasted much shorter than expected and that you were unable to swim at the beach. Beach access and swimming can depend on local sea and safety conditions, but we understand this should have been communicated clearly. Your comments will be shared with the local operator for urgent review and improvement. — Boat Trips Club Team

    Robbery

Took over an hour to find this place. We had to ask at least 8 different locals where to go and even they couldn't find it. The place it’s typically at is “no longer in use” and they had the tiniest sign off of the walkway. We were told the ride would be a little bumpy. Once we got onto the boat, THEN they told us the beaches were closed and that we would get a 45 min tour. I’ve never felt so unsafe in my life. The boat was so close to tipping over multiple times. Then they brought us back to the dock. It was 33 min total. This is NOT what we paid for. They should’ve disclosed to us BEFORE we got on the boat that the beaches were closed. Complete robbery.

Response from the operator: Thank you for your detailed feedback. We’re very sorry to hear about the confusion finding the meeting point, the late communication regarding the beach closure, and that the boat ride felt unsafe and much shorter than expected. Beach access can depend on local sea and safety conditions, but we understand this should have been communicated clearly before boarding. This is not the experience we want for our guests, and your comments will be shared with the local operator for urgent review and improvement. — Boat Trips Club Team

Cabo Boat Ride to El Arco & Lover’s Beach with Swimming: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Los Cabos.

How much does Cabo Boat Ride to El Arco & Lover’s Beach with Swimming cost?

    +

Prices start at $25 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Los Cabos usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Cabo Boat Ride to El Arco & Lover’s Beach with Swimming take?

    +

Plan for about 2.8 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Los Cabos is not rushed.

Is Cabo Boat Ride to El Arco & Lover’s Beach with Swimming worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 76 out of 100, which we label "Strongly Recommended". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.5/5 across 524 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Los Cabos, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cabo Boat Ride to El Arco & Lover’s Beach with Swimming?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Cabo Boat Ride to El Arco & Lover’s Beach with Swimming suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 2.8-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Cabo Boat Ride to El Arco & Lover’s Beach with Swimming?

    +

Around 183 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Los Cabos can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Los Cabos and add a light layer if any part of the 2.8-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cabo Boat Ride to El Arco & Lover’s Beach with Swimming start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Los Cabos within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Los Cabos?

    +

On Outty we rank every Los Cabos experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Cabo 4x4 ATV Tour with Tequila Tasting and Mexican Buffet Lunch, Ziplining and UTV Desert Adventure from Los Cabos, Cabo Beach Camel Ride, Mexican Buffet and Tequila Tasting. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Los Cabos?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Los Cabos?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
