Best Family Adventure Ever!!!!! 5 Stars ⭐️ Ask for Maria

Our family recently spent time with Cabo Trek, and it was truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. We did snorkeling, the Arch tour, and several other activities, and every part of the trip was exceptional. Maria, our guide and marine biologist, was absolutely amazing. Her knowledge of the ocean and marine life made the experience so much more meaningful, and her calm, patient approach made everyone feel comfortable. She took extra time with our son, who is neurodivergent, helping him learn how to snorkel and making sure he felt safe and included throughout the experience. Her kindness and professionalism meant so much to our family. Our captains, Freddie and Adrian, were equally outstanding. They were skilled, friendly, and made us feel safe and well cared for the entire time. The whole crew worked together seamlessly to create an unforgettable experience. This was easily a 10 out of 10 experience and one of the best family adventures we’ve ever had. We highly recommend Cabo Trek to anyone visiting Cabo. Thank you, Maria, Freddie, and Adrian, for making our trip so special. We will never forget it.

Silvia is the best!

We had the best time! We did the 2 hour arch tour that including snorkeling! The snorkeling was a little intense for some of us, but our guide Silvia was the best at helping us and keeping us calm so we could enjoy the sea creatures! I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone. We did take motion sickness medicine beforehand, but we went on the 8am tour so there weren’t strong currents nor were there any other boats which was great for our photos! 10/10 experience. Thank you!

Response from the operator: Hello there! What a wonderful review! We're absolutely thrilled to hear you had the best time on your 2-hour Arch Tour and snorkeling trip and that it was a 10/10 experience! We are so proud of our guide, Silvia! It's fantastic to know she was the best at helping and keeping everyone calm. Our team is trained to ensure every guest feels safe, regardless of their comfort level in the water. Thank you for the wonderful recommendation! We hope to welcome you back to Cabo Trek for another adventure soon. Best regards,

Amazing potential and beautiful trip. Needs a few improvements to make even better!

I have mixed feelings about this trip and would like to write a review in order to help make it even better since I know it has amazing potential. My first surprise was that while our guide was kind and fun, she wasn't a marine biologist as was described on the webpage. She was relatively knowledgeable, but the website said "They are guided by marine biologists who will provide detailed information about the island, its history, and all the wildlife encountered during the tour." and we didn't quite get that from her. My biggest disappointment however, was that we felt like we hardly had any time in the water to snorkel. I've snorkeled a handful of times on vacations before and since it's not something I do often, I always feel as though I need a little time once in the water getting used to breathing, figuring out how to clear my mask, etc. We probably had about 20 minutes in the water and it felt as though as soon as I was starting to relax and enjoy, it was time to get out. Since the website said "this tour focuses on snorkeling" I thought we'd have a lot more time in the water. With that said, the snorkeling that we did do was great and it was so much fun to be around the sea lions. I just wanted more! Finally, we arranged for transportation from our resort to/from the pickup location ahead of time as was recommended in our confirmation email. That worked great on the way there, but we were over an hour late arriving back and missed our ride. We were very grateful that our guide gave us a ride back to our resort, but it would probably have been better to either be more punctual with the return timing, advise us to have our transportation pick us up at a later time just in case, or to just take an Uber. Honestly, we'd just Uber if we did it again since Uber was so easy to use in the area. I really appreciated how mindful of wildlife and nature this company seems to be and I would consider using them again, but would love if they took these comments into consideration. Thank you!

Response from the operator: Thanks for your review. When a trip is not 5 stars it gives us the opportunity to make better and improve our service. We will review our schedules and processes and make the better for the future.

Great trip!

Great company! They organized our whale shark and Isla Ispiritu Santos island tour. Very professional and knowledgeable about the local marine ecosystem. They even helped us find a restaurant to pickup dinner togo after a long day on the boat. Philip, Darren and the team are awesome. They helped suit up our two young kids(ages 7 and 10).

Response from the operator: Thanks for your review! We are glad you had a good tour. Finding the restaurant for your take away food was surely the most difficult part of the whole day :-)! We are surely looking forward to have you on our excursion soon again, check out the other tours we have available, all of them are guided by marine biologist and/or naturalist and with the same quality you've experienced during your trip. Thanks again :-)!!

Cabo Arch Tour: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Cabo San Lucas.

How much does Cabo Arch Tour cost?

+

Prices start at $249 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Cabo San Lucas usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Cabo Arch Tour take?

+

Plan for about 1 hour from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Cabo San Lucas is not rushed.

Is Cabo Arch Tour worth it?

+

It holds an Outty Ranking of 51 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.6/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cabo San Lucas, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cabo Arch Tour?

+

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Cabo Arch Tour suitable for kids and families?

+

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 1-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Cabo Arch Tour?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cabo San Lucas can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cabo San Lucas and add a light layer if any part of the 1-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Cabo Arch Tour start and how do I get there?

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cabo San Lucas within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cabo San Lucas?

+

On Outty we rank every Cabo San Lucas experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Humpback Whale Watching Tour in Cabo San Lucas, Cabo Desert Off-Road & Beach Horseback Combo and Tequila Tasting, Cabo All-Inclusive Private Beach Club with Open Bar and Buffet. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cabo San Lucas?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cabo San Lucas?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
