Must See Caves

We wanted to learn more about Cabarete and it’s history so we toured the caves. We went back to Tony’s tour since we had a great experience before going horseback riding and hoped to experience the same. It was a great experience from sitting at their office booking the tour to getting to the caves and being guided by a very knowledgeable guide. Everyone we encountered was very friendly. I recommend wearing clothes that you can get wet and closed toe shoes that have good grip since you’ll be stepping on sometimes slippery surfaces. We packed a change of clothes and flip flops to change to once we were done. The whole experience was great! Once again Tony’s tour provided excellent service without surprises. We will totally be back and recommend to anyone coming to the area.

Best tour agency in the area! Look no further.

We spent a week in Cabarete and booked two activities with Tony Tours, and both were excellent. First was horseback riding on the beach (10/10). There were four of us, and we had two guides riding alongside the entire time. From pickup at the office to the beach and back, everything felt extremely safe and well organized—they handled transportation both ways, which made the experience stress-free. The second activity was the Cabarete National Caves. Again, from the moment we arrived at the office, we were treated really well. Pricing and activities were explained clearly, no surprises, and transportation to and from the excursion was included. I’d highly recommend either of these activities. The pricing is fair for what you get to see and experience, and honestly, the comfort and trust they provide while you’re traveling is priceless. We’d absolutely book with them again. Thank you, Tony!

Love Tony!

We had a great time, Tony took us on his motorcycle back to the hotel. He also helped us grab my hat that I left on the tour bus. We went to the lagoon and had an amazing time!

Response from the operator: Thank you for your support. We are here to serve you; it is always our goal that each of our clients has a good experience.

Neat experience

Last minute booking success! Timely rides there and back from our hotel. Nowhere to store belongings, but you can carry them with you to each cave. The tour was short, we maybe missed the group explanations of the different tree species and rushed through cave 1 to join another family. The caves were cool, tour guide was very friendly. The last cave is a refreshing dip! A few stairs to climb and a couple small spaces, we had a small crowd!

Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your feedback and for letting us know. We'll improve on that right away so that when you return, we can meet your expectations 100%. Happy New Year and many blessings.

Make it!

We had only booked at short notice and thanks to the great service came still in the afternoon on a tour through the jungle and caves. The guide was very competent in explaining almost every tree and shrub and we visited the abandoned jungle hotel. Highlights were of course the cave incl. the chance to bathe in the last one.

Response from the operator: Gracias mil familias por confiar en nosotros servicio estamos para servirle siempre los esperamos su próxima vacaciones

How much does Cabarete Caves Shore Excursion from Taino Bay & Amber Cove cost?

That score blends traveler sentiment (4.7/5 across 6 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Cabarete, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Cabarete Caves Shore Excursion from Taino Bay & Amber Cove?

+

Is Cabarete Caves Shore Excursion from Taino Bay & Amber Cove suitable for kids and families?

How far in advance should I book Cabarete Caves Shore Excursion from Taino Bay & Amber Cove?

+

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Cabarete can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

+

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Cabarete and add a light layer if any part of the 4-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

+

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Cabarete within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Cabarete?

+

On Outty we rank every Cabarete experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Monkeyland and Zipline Adventure from Puerto Plata, Puerto Plata City Private Tour, Monkeyland Puerto Plata. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Cabarete?

+

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Cabarete?

+

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

+

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
