Wonderful experience with great guide
This was one of my favorite and happiest experiences in my 3 month tour of SE Asia. I felt truly blessed and happy by my water blessing Additionally, I also received a bonus “waist” blessing and was also able to request a specific blessing at a local shrine near the Royal Garden. Receiving and doing these things felt good and right. Thank you Guide Yoeun Serakyuth for taking me to the Wat Preah Prom Roth and the other places and telling me more of the life of Buddha and Buddhism simply and clearly

A wonderful morning with a wonderful guide!
This was a fantastic tour and Yuth, our guide, made every moment interesting and enjoyable. Yuth is extremely knowledgeable about the history and stories of the Buddha. This tour included a visit to a beautiful shrine, a Wat and then to a temple for our fortunes and a water blessing. You will get soaked, bring a change of clothes! A wonder tour!
Response from the operator: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! I’m truly happy to hear that you enjoyed the tour and found it both interesting and meaningful. Sharing the history and stories of the Buddha is something I’m very passionate about, so it means a lot to know it added to your experience. I’m glad you enjoyed visiting the shrine, the Wat, and the temple for the fortune reading and water blessing — and yes, getting soaked is all part of the fun and tradition! 😊 Thank you for mentioning the extra clothes tip — very helpful for future guests! I really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and I hope to welcome you back to Siem Reap again someday. Safe travels and thank you again for joining me!

Don't hesitate, a unique and genuine experience
What an amazing glimpse into the culture and religion of the people here. A glimpse into the lifestyle outside of all of the normal tourist excursions. My guide Ron, (Roem) was charismatic, incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable. We added an extra stop into a local market for a glimpse of local sites, smells, flavors. And the water blessing at the end is definitely a memory that will last a lifetime.
Response from the operator: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re delighted to know that Ron provided a friendly and knowledgeable guided tour and that the cultural insights, market visit, and water blessing left a lasting impression. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to serve you again in the future. Serakyuth Yoeun

Why this scores 59
The Outty Ranking is a weighted composite. Here is how this experience performed on each component.
Buddhist Water Blessing and Real Life Experience with Local: questions travelers ask
Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Siem Reap.
How much does Buddhist Water Blessing and Real Life Experience with Local cost?
+
Prices start at $35 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Siem Reap usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.
How long does Buddhist Water Blessing and Real Life Experience with Local take?
+
Plan for about 2 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Siem Reap is not rushed.
Is Buddhist Water Blessing and Real Life Experience with Local worth it?
+
It holds an Outty Ranking of 59 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4.9/5 across 9 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Siem Reap, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.
Can I cancel or reschedule Buddhist Water Blessing and Real Life Experience with Local?
+
Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.
Is Buddhist Water Blessing and Real Life Experience with Local suitable for kids and families?
+
The operator sets a minimum age of 1. Older children generally do well here, and families should factor in the 2-hour running time when deciding.
How far in advance should I book Buddhist Water Blessing and Real Life Experience with Local?
+
Around 3 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Siem Reap can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.
What should I bring or wear?
+
Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Siem Reap and add a light layer if any part of the 2-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.
Where does Buddhist Water Blessing and Real Life Experience with Local start and how do I get there?
+
The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Siem Reap within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.
What are the best things to do in Siem Reap?
+
On Outty we rank every Siem Reap experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Small-Group and Guide tours, Angkor Wat full Day 'Small Group with sunset & Tour Guide, Angkor Wat Sunrise or Sunset Tour with Guide from Siem Reap. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.
When is the best time to visit Siem Reap?
+
Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.
How many days do you need in Siem Reap?
+
Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.
Do I book through Outty or through the operator?
+
Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
