    DIsappointing guide and Expensive

The tour was disappointing . The guide was ill prepared. We went to the first brewery. It was closed and the guide had not checked to make sure it was open on that day of the week. Minimal experience with the brewing techniques and history.

Response from the operator: Hello Judy, I’m truly sorry to hear about your experience and understand your frustration when plans don’t go as anticipated, especially with a closed brewery and a host who wasn’t fully prepared. This is not the level of service we strive to provide. I’m glad we could find a solution together and hope to earn your trust again in the near future. Warm regards, Kyle and the City Unscripted team.

    Would not recommend

I would recommend doing the group beer tour then the private . This was more of a tour of Brussels than a beer tour. We only tasted 3 beers and received no history Belgium beer , it was more a walking tour about Brussels and we were not looking for that.

Response from the operator: Hello Maria, I understand how the tour not meeting your expectations left you feeling disappointed and we’re sorry our host didn’t hit the brief. Your feedback is great, as it drives our commitment to enhancing our experiences. We're glad we could resolve this matter to your contentment and please know we're eager for a second chance to make your experience shine. Warm regards, Ruslan and the City Unscripted Team

    Brussels tour

Andrea was our guide and he was very knowledgeable about the history and architecture of Brussels. We tasted a few Belgian beers and walked around the city center.

    Five-star experience

The most interesting and educational beer tour I've ever participated. Strong recommandations from us!

Response from the operator: Hi Ivar_S I am glad to hear you had a pleasant beer experience with one of our Brussels hosts! Hopefully we’ll see you in the future in one of our other 60+ cities, so we can give you another 5* experience with a knowledgeable host. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you decide to book flights to one of our destinations. Kindest Liezel

11 Bottles of Beer On The Wall....

Mike was an amazing tour guide and by the end we had at least sipped 11 beers over the course of 3 hours and got better acquainted with the layout of the city. Best idea for the first full day of our trip (traveled from Netherlands first, this may not be good for first day on jetlag!). Mike also gave us plenty of other off the beaten path suggestions to visit as well. 10/10 would suggest, and having a private tour is a novelty in and of itself.

Response from the operator: Hi Shannon! I are thrilled to hear that Michael (and the beer!) helped you both through your jet-lag - I hope this made your birthday extra special and the City Unscripted team and I look forward to hosting you on your next adventure! Brussels Beer Tour: Private & Personalized with a Local Guide: questions travelers ask

Practical detail on this experience, plus the wider planning questions for Brussels.

How much does Brussels Beer Tour: Private & Personalized with a Local Guide cost?

    +

Prices start at $206 per person. The final price depends on the date, the time slot and the number of travelers, and peak weekends in Brussels usually price higher than midweek mornings. Live pricing and remaining availability are confirmed on the booking screen before you pay.

How long does Brussels Beer Tour: Private & Personalized with a Local Guide take?

    +

Plan for about 3 hours from start to finish, not counting travel to the meeting point. Most travelers leave another 30 minutes on either side so the rest of the day in Brussels is not rushed.

Is Brussels Beer Tour: Private & Personalized with a Local Guide worth it?

    +

It holds an Outty Ranking of 48 out of 100, which we label "Worth a Look". That score blends traveler sentiment (4/5 across 5 reviews), the depth of that review evidence, recent booking momentum, value for money against comparable last minute in Brussels, and how flexible the cancellation terms are.

Can I cancel or reschedule Brussels Beer Tour: Private & Personalized with a Local Guide?

    +

Yes. Cancel free up to 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Inside that window the booking is non-refundable, and no-shows are not refunded.

Is Brussels Beer Tour: Private & Personalized with a Local Guide suitable for kids and families?

    +

Yes, all ages are welcome. Families should still weigh the 3-hour running time, and strollers are easier on the earlier, quieter departures.

How far in advance should I book Brussels Beer Tour: Private & Personalized with a Local Guide?

    +

Around 2 people booked this in the last 30 days, so popular slots go early. Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable in shoulder season, while summer weekends and holidays in Brussels can sell out a month out. Same-day spots do open up when other travelers cancel, so it is worth checking if you are already in town.

What should I bring or wear?

    +

Bring photo ID, your booking confirmation on your phone, a refillable water bottle and comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather in Brussels and add a light layer if any part of the 3-hour experience runs outdoors or after sunset.

Where does Brussels Beer Tour: Private & Personalized with a Local Guide start and how do I get there?

    +

The exact meeting point and directions are on your voucher once you book, and they sit in central Brussels within reach of public transport. Arrive 15 minutes early: late arrivals are treated as no-shows by most operators.

What are the best things to do in Brussels?

    +

On Outty we rank every Brussels experience on the same 0 to 100 scale, and alongside this one the highest scorers right now include Brussels: Historical Walking Tour with Chocolate & Waffle Tasting, Hungry Mary's Famous Beer and Chocolate Tour in Brussels, Brussels Chocolate Beer Waffle and Belgian Whiskey All-in-One (Small Group) Tour. The city page groups everything into most popular, highest reviewed, last minute and family-friendly so you can build a day around what actually delivers.

When is the best time to visit Brussels?

    +

Booking patterns follow the same curve: prices and queues climb in peak weeks, while shoulder season gives you better availability on the top-ranked experiences and more room to change plans.

How many days do you need in Brussels?

    +

Three full days covers the headline sights without sprinting. A workable rhythm is one anchor experience each morning, such as this one, an unhurried afternoon in a single neighborhood, then a food or nightlife booking in the evening. Five days lets you add a day trip outside the city.

Do I book through Outty or through the operator?

    +

Outty ranks and explains the experiences, then hands you to Viator to complete the booking with the operator directly. The price is the same as booking on Viator yourself, and Outty earns an affiliate commission on the referral, which is how the rankings stay free to read.
